"Laro got hit by a bus." He said very quickly, I could barely catch it.

I couldn't believe what happened to my step-brother. I always looked at him like he was my actual little brother.

"WHAT?!" I said in a voice that might have woken someone up.

"He knew you were leaving. He was trying to catch up. He got hit by a bus and we took him to a hospital. He really misses you."

"Shit. This is all because of me. Damn, why am I so stupid?"

"You wouldn't have known. Don't blame yourself."

I smiled. "You're not the first to tell me, sorry."

"It's really boring here. Nothing new."

"Waahhh!"

"WHAT?!"

"I miss you, that's all!"

"Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again."

I laughed. "Fine, fine."

"That was easy."

"What was?"

"Trying to cheer you up."

"Thanks a lot, Shio. You really are the best."

"Well, I have to go now. Talk to you later?"

"Alright. Bye. And tell Laro that I'll be back soon, kay?"

"Okay, bye!" and with that, the call ended.

I got up. 'Man, now what?' I looked around the room. I noticed a bookshelf. 'Yes! How didn't I notice it before?!'

I ran towards the shelf. I grabbed a random book I found. I read the cover. The book was titled, 'The legendary wings'. I read it when I was around 9, just because I was interested in my wings. It's fiction anyways, so it didn't really help. I looked for other books. They all seemed pretty interesting. Well, minus the ones I already read. There were many genres: adventure, classics, mystery, fantasy, horror, romance, and sci-fi. I took out a detective book. I've always loved these. I loved imagining that I was the detective. I loved making conclusions, even if some of them were wrong. And most of all, I loved the magical brains these detectives owned.

1 minute left. I can't believe it. It seemed to take forever, but after the minute passed, I sprinted outside. The others called for me, but I couldn't really pay attention to them. I was happy to get out of that prison, but we only had less than 10 hours left. I could tell we weren't even halfway done, although we probably finished the hardest part. I thought of a plan, then a thought popped into my head.

"Guys! I know a quicker way to get down!" I exclaimed, getting all of their attention. "You all know how to swim, right?" I asked. They all nodded.

"Yeah, why?" Killua asked. I smirked.

"I'll tell you later. I'm going to need all of you to jump down." I instructed as I pointed down. "Just trust me." I saw an opening there, but it was very small. We'd have to widen it. They all looked at me confused, then agreed. I was a little worried for Leorio, who always landed face first. After we all jumped, there was a loud splash. I lifted my head out of the water. I looked around. Everyone seemed alright. I looked for the small hole. When I found it, I called for them. They quickly swam over.

"Okay, we have to somehow break this wall. There's a small hole in it. I'm sure it's a quicker way to get down. Once the hole is wide enough, we'll all leave. Is that fine by everyone?"
