(A/N: Warning: Suicide and death mentioned)
Aiko's POV:
I woke up and I was very wet, even though I knew I was on land. I looked around. I am surrounded by water and I'm in the only corner where there's the tiniest bit of land. I looked up. 'Looks like I'll have to climb up there, but how?'
Just then, and idea popped into my head. I took out two off my knives. Good thing I had my gloves on before fighting, and good thing I left my backpack up there. I had my lollipops, notebook, and phone in there. I stood up and turned towards the wall behind me. I stuck my knife into the wall, then shook it a lot to make sure it's strong enough. It was quite strong, so I stuck my other knife and started climbing.
-----
I climbed for about 5 hours now. I was starting to feel tired now, and I knew I was about to run out of energy. Then, my knife detached from the wall. My grip was weak, so the knife fell. 'Shit. It's just the third phase and I lost one of my knives?!' I grabbed another knife and stuck it very firmly into the wall. I continued climbing for about an hour until I find a small cave. I decided to rest for a while and managed to get about two hours of sleep. When I got up I continued climbing.
-----
I was very close to the top now. It's been about 18 hours in total or so. I rested more than once in a few caves like the ones I found earlier. I used all the strength in me to get up to the top. Once I got up I saw my bag. Nothing else was there. I heard some sounds come from a room. The voices suddenly stopped. Then, there were black spots in my vision. Soon, all of my vision turned black.
-----
I woke up and saw the four worried faces of my friends. My eyes widened.
"Guys!" I exclaimed, even though my voice was quite weak. I was laying on the floor. I got up.
"Aiko! You're okay!" Gon said as he hugged me.
"That's good news. I seriously thought you died." Killua said. I looked at him, then at Kurapika and Leorio.
"I honestly thought so as well." I agreed.
"We thought you... wouldn't make it." Kurapika said. He must have been horrified, since he lost Pairo as well.
"But I did. No need to feel worried now." I smiled at him. I think my face was turning blue. "G-Gon! I can't breathe!" He let go of me. I looked at him. His eyes were teary.
"It's okay, guys. I'm fine." I said. I looked at the room. There were a few things in here. "But first, I seriously need a drink. I stood up and walked to my backpack. I took out the only can I had left of Tonpa's juice. I opened the can and drank it in less than a minute.
"Ah, that was good." I said once I finished it. I let out a small yawn.
"Uhm, Aiko?" Leorio asked.
"Hm?"
"How did you manage to get up here?"
"I climbed using my knives."
"Oh, and how long did it take?"
"Well, let's see. How much of the 50 hours did you guys spend?"
"Oh. We spent about 21 hours."
"Yeah, I'd say I took a little shorter than that. How many hours did I sleep?"
"2 hours."
"Well, um. 21 minus 2 is 19. I'd say it took me about the same time to wake up down there, and 19 minus 2 is 17 so I'd say I took 17 hours or something to climb here. Wow, I sure took long."
