I fell down the hole and I couldn't see a thing.

When I finally got to the end of the hole, which felt like forever, I prepared to land on my feet, and I did. I looked around. There was a table of some sorts that had five wristwatches on it.

"The five of you must follow the will of the majority to reach the goal." I read out loud. "Great, I need to wait for four other idiots to get down here."

I waited for god knows how long until I heard some noises coming from above. I stepped out of the way so that they don't land on me. First came a certain green-haired boy came first. Then came his assassin friend. Next was my Kurta friend, and lastly the clumsy old-looking teenager who landed on his face unlike all the others. They clearly didn't notice me, but whatever.

"Huh?" Leorio asked when he realized they all landed in the same room.

"That was quite a brief farewell." Kurapika pointed out.

"So all the doors led to the same room..." Leorio said. They all went to the table and read  the instructions. They looked at the watches.

"Huh? Isn't there supposed to be one more watch?" Leorio questioned.

"There should be. That means someone already beat us here." Kurapika looked around the room and finally noticed.

"Hey." I said. "Kinda hurts that you didn't notice me..."

"No one  would notice you if you're purposely hiding." Killua explained.

"Whatever." I just replied.

"All five are here? Okay. I'm Lippo, the prison warden here. I am also the examiner of the first phase." A voice spoke.

"Prison Warden?" Kurapika asked while making conclusions.

"Multiple routes through this tower have been prepared. You have chosen the path of majority rule. Cooperation will be the key if you wish to clear this phase of the exam. One person's selfish behavior can derail an entire group. You can start now since you already have five members. Best of luck!" The examiner explained. A door opened after they all put their timers on. We walked through the door and there was our first majority rule.

"At this door, select O to open the door, X not to open." Gon read. We all pressed on O. The  screen showed O5 X0. The door opened and we walked through it. We saw another board for majority rule.

"Choose which way to go. O for right, X for left." Gon read again. I pressed right. The results were O3 and X2.

"Why would anyone even choose right? You should always go left." Leorio asked.

"That is true." Kurapika answered. "Studies have indicated that people who are lost or stuck at forks unconsciously tend to go left. Killua agreed with Kurapika.

"Who chose right?" I wondered.

"I did." Killua replied.

"So did I." Kurapika said.

"Oh, me too." I said boringly. We went to the right side. We arrived at an arena. On the other side of the room there were five people. They had cloaks and were handcuffed. Lippo spoke, but I wasn't really paying attention. Gon went to fight first. I was very tired so I went to the corner and fell asleep. I told Kurapika to wake me up when Gon's battle was over.

I opened my eyes. Apparently, Gon won his match and Kurapika was starting his.

"I told him to wake me up, didn't I?" I said to myself. I watched as the huge blue man proposed a death match without weapons. Kurapika agreed. Leorio admitted that he was scared. Honestly, the man didn't look that scary. He wasn't really trying to win by fighting. He just tried to scare Kurapika. When the match began, the huge man punched the place were Kurapika used to be, breaking the floor and showing us, almost purposely, showing us his spider tattoo. He claimed that he was one of the phantom troupe's kings. My eyes widened. 'Of course he's not! Kurapika, you know that!'

Kurapika's breathing became uneven as Leorio was warning him. I could see his beautiful scarlet eyes from where I was standing.

"Kurapika, calm down! You know he's a fake!" I yelled at him. He completely ignored me and grabbed the prisoner. He punched him hardly.

"Consider this a warning..." He warned. "First, a real phantom troupe tattoo has the member's number in the spider. Second, they don't bother counting how many people they've killed. Third, never mention the troupe again. If you do, I'll kill you."

"Kurapika..." Leorio muttered. He grabbed his things and walked back to us.

"You okay, Kurapika?" Leorio asked when he came back.

"Yeah, I'm not injured." He replied simply.

"Also," Leorio continued. "is it safe for us to be near you?"

"From the moment I saw him, I knew he was weak." He answered. "And mentally, I knew that tattoo was a fake. But as soon as I saw that spider, everything in my sight turned red..."

"It's alright, Kurapika. We'll be there for you." I reassured him. He smiled. "Alright, I'm going next."

"You can't." A feminine voice said.

"Why not?" I asked suspiciously.

"Because he hasn't surrendered. He's still alive."
