Once a upon a time
I heard a story of her girl struggling through her life
When others heard about cinderella losing her shoe
I heard about the girl's life issues
I heard that she was strong
But something went wrong
Once the hands held people tighter
Started to grow weaker
What was wrong with her mother?
As I asked, my mother started to stutter
Her body was shaken
And she looked broken
I wonder why
Mother had to cry
Then she answered
My heart crumbled
Mother whispered
The girl died of cancer
What a shame I said
Still curious to know her name
Who is she mother?
What is her name mother?
My dear, she's not a stranger
She is your sister
A/N: I KNOW I'M TAKING A BREAK BUT I REALLY WANTED TO SHARE THIS POEM WITH MY AMAZING READERS. THIS WAS WRITTEN IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES WHEN I WAS SITTING IN THE BACKSEAT ON A LATE NIGHT DRIVE. THIS IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY. MY STORY. YES I LOST MY SISTER. THEY WERE TWINS. I LOST ONE OF THEM.
DEAR ANGELS, I JUST WANTED TO SAY WE ALL HAVE LOST SOMEONE IN OUR LIFES AND IT HURTS LIKE HELL. BUT STILL, IT IS NOT THE END. THERE MUST BE A REASON THAT THEY ARE GONE AND I KNOW WE CAN NEVER MOVE ON. YOU DON'T HAVE TO MOVE ON. JUST REMEMBER, YOU DON'T HAVE TO END YOUR LIFE JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE YOU LOVED IS GONE. THEY ARE NOT ENTIRELY GONE, THEY LIVE IN OUR MEMORIES CLEARER THAN EVER AND ALL THEY WANT IS FOR YOU TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE. SO TO THOSE WHO HAVE LOST, STAY STRONG AND CLOSE YOUR EYES AND YOU WILL FEEL THEIR PRESENCE. AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T, I HOPE YOU DON'T BECAUSE IT HURTS AND PLEASE VALUE THE ONE WHO I BY YOUR SIDE WHO CARES FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE.
