she stood in front of a mirror
she stared at the figure
tell me what do you see
Is it what you seek?
her eyes wonder around the mirror
just to find the person as a stranger
tell me who do you see
Is it someone you pretend to be?
she explored in the depths of the stranger's eyes
discovering it as cold as ice
tell me what you found
Is it something you bound?
she stretched her SOUL
to the stranger's heart to hold
tell me about the sharp and broken pieces you feel
Is it what makes your hand bleed?
she felt a connection
to both of their emotion
tell me what do you realise
Is she a mask you used to wear outside?
Or is she someone you lost inside?
A/N: How many of us have changed for the world? How many of us have sacrificed our needs for others? How many of us have been attacked by judgements?
How many of us have lost our true self for the society?
How many of us cried because of all the false accusations?
How many of us have turned from an outgoing and friendly angel, to a plain and cold hearted demon?
The most important question is who did we change ourselves for and is it worth it?
