Chapter 9

I wake up at 5:00 am. Why so early? Anyways, I couldn't fall back asleep. So I got dressed into my jogging suit, but my hair up, brushed my teeth, made an egg, and went for a jog. Everyone was asleep so nobody would know, and I'm sure mom wouldn't care.
It's still a little dark out when as I leave. I got to the beach and sat in the cold sand. The sun was starting to rise. It was beautiful. I took a picture of the sunset coming over the beach, and post it on Instagram. " beautiful 🌞". I scroll through my feeds, and I see hayes posted a picture. It was him a Katie kissing. " babe ❤️😍 @oxkatiexo" was his caption. There were a lot of comments. Like " she's cute" "ew, I don't ship" " what happened to Harah?" " hayes is mine, die bitch!" And so much more. But I don't care anymore.
I start to jog home at about 6:30, and when I get home, mom was sitting at the kitchen table. " Where were you?" Mom said I'm a worried, scared tone. " I just went for a jog, I didn't think you'd be up this early since your off work." " I was worried. And I've been up since 6, and when I realized you were gone, I swore I almost had a heart attack."
" I'm sorry mom. I'll make it up to you with some nice breakfast." " yeah you better." She said hugging me. I heard a buzz coming from my pocket.

Hey, um our project is due tomorrow and we haven't even started.. So we should really get started after or during school..

Shit. I forgot again. I don't wanna go to his house, so he can come here.

Sure. You can come to my house after school whenever you want.

I finish making mom her pancakes. " mom it's ready" I set it on the table for her. She looks at the pancakes. " well that's boring. I was hoping there would be a face on it with some fruit." That's mom for you. " well I have to get ready for school. And I told hayes that he could come over and work on our project that's due tomorrow if that's alright." " yeah sure Hun."
I walk upstairs and take a quick shower. Once I get out, I put on some deorterant, put my Victoria's Secret laced bra on with matching underwear, blue ripped skinny jeans, a tank top and a TNA hoodie over it. I put on my daily makeup, brush my teeth, and did a French braid. I grabbed my uggs, and bag, and head downstairs. By the time I was done, it was almost 8. Mom wasn't around, so I guess she went back to sleep. I grab a water bottle and head to school.
When I get there, I see Tyler and brooke. Tyler was grabbing her, but brooke kept backing off. I run up to Katie and grabbed her hand, gave Tyler a death stare and went inside. " thanks for that" she looked at me with a smile. " guys can be such jerks." " tell me about it." I said with a smirk. As we get to my locker, I feel a tap on my shoulder. Hayes.
" Hey Sarah."
" hi"
So um, I had plans with Katie today and I was wondering, um.. About the project... -"
"- whatever. I'll do it myself." I slammed my locker door and quickly headed to class with brooke.
* end of the day *
It was just another boring ordinary day. I walked home, by myself, again. As I got home, I quickly got started on the project. I hate math..
Not even halfway done, Nathan knocks on the door. " Sarah! Dinners ready!" " I'm not hungry!" " it's McDonalds!" That did the trick. I went downstairs, grabbed my meal, and went back up. I ate quickly and continued the project.
I woke up, and the clock read 1:26 am.
Oh my god I'm not even done the project! I need to finish this! I'm never working with Hayes, or any new kid ever again. About 4 hours later, which was 5:17am , I finished. I could hardly keep my eyes open.

The next morning, I wake up, and the first thing I think about, is that it's finally Friday. I look at the clock, and it says 8:30am. Omg im so late. Class has already started! I quickly changed, brushed my teeth, did makeup, out my hair In a really messy bun, grabbed my bag, phone, and broject and left right away. I check my phone as I'm running to school.

Okay then. I get into class and I see Hayes at the front of the class, which meant it was our turn. " Sarah, we're so glad you made it. Shall we start with your presentation?" Mr. Greene said as I entered the class. I get to the front, and start talking, while hayes has no idea what's going on.
Class finishes, and Hayes comes up to me in the hall. " Look, Sarah, again in really so-"
" just forget about it Hayes"
I turned around and went to the caf.
My friends were there sitting at the table. " hey girly" I look at them with a smile "sup". We started talking till lunch was over.
Lunch was early today, it was at 10am, cause nobody had classes after 11:30. Everyone leaves school and heads home. I got home, and went straight to my room, and fell asleep.
