Chapter 13

The party ended a few hours later. It was about 2 am. Hayes was staying the night, and he was already passed out on the couch. I started cleaning everything up. Peyton and Brooke stayed back and helped.
"Guys, I can do it all, it's fine. Go get some sleep!" But, they didn't want to.
"Sarah it's fine! "
"No! Go home! I'll text you's in the morning!" We were kind of whispering/yelling at each other so Hayes didn't wake up. Finally, they insisted as well. " okay , fine. We'll text you tomorrow. Thanks for everything."
"I will."
We hugged eachother and they left. I finished cleaning about 2 hours, or less, but not that long after. I sat on the other couch, and then everything went black.

I woke up to the sound of footsteps. I looked up to see Hayes walking over towards me. He gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Happy Birthday baby girl."
"Thank you babe, but I'm not your baby girl anymore, I'm older than you." I gave a little giggle while he smirked. " only for a few months. And whether your older, younger, bigger or smaller, you will always, and I mean always be my baby girl. "
Awh he's so cute. " meh, whatever" I said sarcastically he. He new I was joking. He pulled my up into a tight hug.
"So what would you like to do today birthday girl?"
"Just spend my day with you."
I took his hands and gazed into his eyes.
"I'd love that. But there is somewhere I'd like to take you later on today."
"Oh yeah? And where would that be?"
"Guess you'll find out later."
He was teasing me! He wouldn't tell me. I hate surprises. But I just have to deal with it.
"What time is it anyway?" Gosh I'm so tired.
"7:13am"
Holy cow.
"Ok well I'm going back to bed, in my room though in a nice comfy bed."
"Okay, I'll make some birthday breakfast" he took one step towards the kitchen and I didn't let go of his hand just yet.
"No. Come back to bed with me. Please? I just want to cuddle and be in your arms before you leave tomorrow."
He stood there smiling.
"Of coarse. Whatever you'd like" he kissed me on the cheek, then we headed upstairs.

When I woke up, the clock read 11:37am. Hayes was still asleep. He's so adorable. I'm so lucky 💖 I went into my bathroom and got ready for the day. Put my hair in a French braid, did my makeup and brushed my teeth. Put deoterant on, and got dressed. I put on my normal casual clothes. Jeans and a sweater.
"You look cute today, as well as every other day" Hayes said with a sleepy morning voice. Damn.
"We're you watching me change?" I giggle, with a bobby pin in my mouth and fixed my hair a bit at the same time.
All Hayes did was just smile and turned the other way and shut his eyes. I jumped onto the bed and then onto him. He didn't move at all. "Get up sleepy head" I shook him, and he wouldn't get up. He grunted, but in a funny sort of way.
I know what will wake him up...
I got up and went into my bathroom. I turned the shower on, and left the door open a bit.
Through the crack, I see Hayes getting up and walking towards the bathroom. When he came in, I jumped on his back, scaring the shit out of him. " holy shit you scared me!" I couldn't stop laughing. " atleast your up now." I shut the shower off and went downstairs, leaving him in my room.
