Chapter 3

I shut the door and take my shoes off, but of coarse I'm still smiling. It's been one day, and hayes has already made me smile. It's like he didn't have to do anything to do it really. I turn around to see my mom standing there. " what's the smiles about Sar?" She says smirking. " nothing. Just had a really good day at school." I start to walk up the stairs and mom continues talking to me. " meet any new friends? Anyone.... Special??" I laugh and blush but try to deny the whole special thing. " yes I met new people, no, I didn't meet someone special... What's for supper?" I ask her trying to change the subject, hoping she will go along with it. " I thought we could just order some pizza if that's alright, unless you feel like cooking..? " mm pizza. " I'm perfectly good with pizza tonight" I get to the top of the stairs " hey mom? I know it's like the first day of school, but I already have a math project to get done, and I was wondering if my partner Hayes can come over and start working on it?" " sure sweety. Why don't you invite him over for supper ? I'd love to meet him." I smile and walk up to my room. I set my bags down and sit on my bean bag chair. All of a sudden, I get a text from someone..
*unknown number* - hey, sarah? It's Hayes.
Me- hey Hayes😋
H- what's up cutie?
M- nothing, just sat down, hbu?
H- nothing. Just thinking about stuff.. Like our project 😝
M- cool haha so I was wondering if you wanted to come over for supper? We're ordering pizza, and we can start the project if you want? 😁😁
H- yeah sure I'd like that. What time?
M- uh.. 5 ish? (:
H- yeah sounds great:) I'll see you later !

It's about 4:45 pm and I though I would just fix myself up a bit. I fixed up my make up and thought id let my hair down. I take my sweater off, cause I haven't taken it off all day, so I thought I'd show off my cute tank top. By the time I finish, it's 4:58 and I head downstairs. Once I got down there the door bell rang. " I got it mom" I open up to see Hayes. " hey stranger " he says opening his arms. He hugs me and I hug him back. " hey you. Come on it. " I shut the door behind him and lead him to my room. " hunny your father and brother will be here with the pizza in half an hour. They had to do some running around first." " alright"
We get in my room and he stands there looking around at my trophies. " sit. Make yourself at home." I tell him. I feel really close with him, as if we are already best friends. He sits down beside me on my bed. " so do you wanna start the project now or after dinner? We have all week pretty much.. " " we can do it after supper if that's alright? I wanna get to know you." " okay, what do you wanna know? " " everything. Hobbies, favourite colour, friendships, accounts on things so I can follow you.... " we laugh. " alright, well, I like the colours green and purple, my birthday is March 7th, my best friends are Elena, Brooke, Lydia and Peyton, could be you too someday haha, uhm I'm not the girly type, like I wear makeup and stuff but I'm more into sports like volleyball and basketball, I hate shopping, unless I need to, I don't really go on sites like vine or Twitter.. This town is just hooked to things like like facebook, Instagram, snapchat. I mean some people have others but, not me.. And yeah I guess that's pretty much it.. How about you? Tell me about yourself" I wait patiently for Hayes to tell me about himself.. " well, I like blue and red, I have 2 brothers and a half sister. I like football, and I'm famous." I paused. Then I laughed my ass off. He's kidding right haha. " in serious sarah" he giggles a bit. " I'm from North Carolina. We moved so we could have a break. There's a lot of drama. I can't date girls, I can't go out in public alone, it's nuts. Nash was famous first, then helped me out. You said you don't have vine. I'm famous because of it. Like how celebrities are famous from YouTube. Look. " he shows me his phone and proofs that he is famous. " I have millions of followers. I tour, I go to awards, I talk to many famous people. It's true. But I don't want to be that famous guy that everyone talks about. I want to be known as a normal 14 year old, you know?" I understand what he's coming from. But I would have never guessed that. " I promise I'll think of you as the normal 14 year old boy, who is funny, sweet, and cute like a normal boy. " omg. Did I just say that out loud. I see Hayes blushing.. " kids! Pizzas here!" Thank god she called us. It was getting awkward..
We grab some pizza and head to my room. " wanna watch a movie or something? The hockey game is on. I love hockey.. But movies are cool too. You pick." I ask Hayes. He is the guest. " well a new movie came out. We should watch it. It's called The Giver. "
" yeah I've been wanting to see that, let's watch it." I find the movie on tv so we can rent it.
It's halfway through the movie, and I swear I can feel Hayes moving closer and closer everytime. It's gotten to the point where I can feel him breathing on me. I don't mind, but it gives me chills. He's so cute.. He puts his arm around me, and I start to blush. I try to hide it by fixing my hair, but don't think that works. I turn to face Hayes, and his lips are just centimetres away. He leans it, and so do I. I already have butterflies in my stomach, but all of a sudden..
