Chapter 29

*few weeks later*
Hayes' Pov

It was the day we take off to Florida. We just got to the airport, and I haven't seen Sarah all morning. She wasn't even on the bus. I saw Brooke and Elena, so I went over to see if they know anything.
"Hey, have you guys seen Sarah or know where she is?"
"Yeah she want to go get her boot off her foot. Her mom was going to drive her here and she should be here soon."
Elena said to me, and Brooke nodded her head in agreement.
"Really? She never told me this."
"Yeah, take a look for yourself." Brooke said pointing towards Sarah, who was walking up behind me. I looked at her foot to see no boot. "Do I look different?" She said jokingly. "I don't even recognize you." I said. We all laughed.
"Flight 38 is ready for takeoff"
" I guess that's us. " and we all started walking.

We got on the plane, and none of us were sitting together, except for my friends Tyler and Luke. I was sitting with a girl from another school, who looked to be a cheerleader. Elena, Brooke, Peyton, and Lydia were with some people I didn't even know, and Sarah was with a guy who looked about our age. Sarah was 4 seats over, so I guess we were close, but not close enough .

Sarah's Pov
Hayes and I made eye contact, and he smiled. I smiled back, and we both just turned away. I I had the isle seat, and beside me on the window seat was a guy from a different school. He turned to talk to me. "Hi, I'm Dylan." I smiled. "I'm Sarah."
"Sarah. That's a beautiful name. " he smiled and kissed my hand.
"Thank you." He made me blush a bit.
"So, Dylan. Are you from here?"
"No, I'm actually from Texas. My school is on our way to Florida for some competitions."
"Oh cool! My school is too! What sports are you doing?" I felt like he was a football player, and something else, but not sure.
"Football." He said.
"And what about the other one?" I know he had a second one. Everyone had to have two.
"Cheerleading."
"Oh cool!!! Me too! And my boyfriend is playing football."
"Awesome. So we'll be seeing eachother
a lot." He smiled. "Yes we will."
I looked over at Hayes who was already looking at me, looking nervous, or upset or disappointed. Some sort of unusual look. But he just covered it up with a smile.

Hayes' Pov
I saw the kid beside Sarah making her smile and laugh and she seemed to enjoy it. I think I'm just being jealous. Sarah looked at me and we smiled at eachother.
"Hey, I'll be right back." The girl beside me said. I nodded as she went off.
I looked out the window and she was back. "That was fa-" I turned to see it was Sarah.
"Hey babe. What are you doing over here?" I said taking her hand and squeezing it gently.
"I came to just see you. "She smiled. I gave her a kiss. "How much longer do we have anyway?" She asked me, putter he head gently on my shoulder.
"I think like 2 more hours." She sighed.
She got up and looked at me with a smirk. "Well, I can't wait to get back to the hotel and just relax with you."
"Like, can we 'Netflix and chill'?" She laughed and gave me a hug. She whispered in my ear. "Possibly."
I'd have to say, I couldn't wait.
I looked up to see the girl standing there waiting for her seat.
"Oh, sorry about that." Sarah said and she got up. "No worries. Hey, where do you sit?" The girl said. Sarah pointed towards her seat. "Hey, that's Dylan. Oh, I could trade seats with you if you'd like." The girl said to Sarah. She looked at me and I smiled in a 'thanks'. "That'd be awesome! Thanks-" she was waiting for her to say her name.
"Sophia" they shook hands. Sophia smiled and went off to sit with Dylan, and Sarah sat down with me.

3 hours later
Sarah's Pov
We got to the airport in Florida. We were just waiting for our bus to go back to the hotel. I was bunking with Elena, but Elena was going to go with Brooke and Hayes was coming to my room. I think he was excited about it. And so am I. Just us two, relaxing and spending lots of time together.

We had time before we had to go to the hotel, so we just went shopping. We took two busses, and sadly Hayes wasn't on mine. But atleast Dylan. was and I could talk to him. I saw him sitting on the bus and I sat with him.
"Hey again." He said to me. "Hey, you don't mind if I sit here right?"  I asked him.
"No! Of coarse not. " he smiles at me.
Dylan's Pov
Sarah came to sit with me, and I'm glad she did. She's so beautiful and really fun to talk to.
"So what store are you going to check out first?" She asked me, trying to keep the conversation going. I like that about her.
"Not too sure yet. You?"
"Me neither. But I'm dying to get a longboard. I saw it in a mall once, and I can't remember the store, so I'm hoping to check some out." Wow, she longboards too. She can't get anymore attractive. "Sweet! We should longboard sometime during the week before we leave." I hope I don't sound like a creep. "Yeah! For sure!" We both smiled. "Hey, what's your number?" She actually asked me for my number. So I gave it to her. And this may sound weird, but I think she likes me. I know she had a boyfriend and stuff, but you never know.
