Jack was in her office texting Faith. She had asked Jack if they could meet up tomorrow for coffee because she had something to tell her and Jack was just confirming that she was free. Jethro knocked and walked into her office; closing the door behind him. "Hey, Cowboy," Jack said, greeting him. "Hey, Jack," Jethro said, sitting down in one of the chairs in front of Jack's desk.
"So?," Jack questioned him. "I need you to do a profile," Jethro said, handing her a folder. Jack takes a look through the folder after she puts her glasses on. She looked up and found Jethro staring intently at her. "Well, it's gonna take some time," Jack said, chuckling. That made Jethro chuckle too. "So, do you want to tell me why you really came here?," Jack asked him, putting the folder down. "Will you go out to dinner with me, tonight?," Jethro asked, looking hopeful.
"Hmm," she said, acting like she had to think about it, to mess with him. "So, it's a no. Okay," Jethro said, a flash of sadness on his face. He was at the door and he held his hand out for the handle. "Jethro," her voice made him stop. "I was messing with you. I don't have to think about going out to dinner with you," she said. He turned around and smiled. He leaned over and kissed her lips. The kiss was great.
After a long day, Jack was finally home. She was on her couch, relaxing. She was reading a book that she started a few days ago. She heard a knock on the door and she put the bookmark in her book. She got off of the couch and answered the door. It was Jethro, fancied up in a suit and tie. He frowned when he saw her.
"You forgot, didn't you?," Jethro asked. "I'm sorry. It's been a long day," Jack said. Jethro was obviously hurt. He let out a sigh. "Give me 5 minutes to make this right," Jack said. Jethro was still hurt, Jack could tell. "Fine. 5 minutes, that's it, Jacqueline," Jethro had said her full first name, he was definitely mad at her. Jack ran upstairs; leaving the door open so Jethro could come in.
Within 5 minutes, Jack was walking down the stairs. She was showered, dressed in a beautiful purple dress that showed off her curves, she had black high heels on and makeup shined off of her beautiful face with her freshly curled blond hair falling just past her shoulders. When Jethro looked at, he smiled. For the first time that night, he did. They went out to dinner and they were both happy and laughing. Jethro was no longer mad at her; not with that beautiful face.
