Jack and Jethro were still in the same room. A few hours had gone by. Xavier had come in to try to get information from them and stayed there for about an hour but gave up when he had beaten Jethro up badly and still didn't tell him anything. Jack had just been sitting there since Jethro had lost consciousness. She was thinking of a plan to get out of there.
Suddenly, the door flew open. Jack looked up and saw Xavier standing there. He walked over and untied her. Jack tried to fight against him but one of the minions put a gun to Jethro's head. "I'll kill him, if you don't stop," Xavier said. Jack stopped; scared for Jethro's life. They took Jack to another room.
Then there was a gunshot that woke Jethro. Xavier entered the room with a gun. "So, I see you're awake now," he said. Jethro looked around. He got scared when he didn't see Jack in the room with him. "Where's Jack?," Jethro said, trying to hide the panic in his voice.
"Oh. She's dead," Xavier said, in a nonchalant way. Jethro couldn't believe it. They had killed the love of his life. All he could think of was getting revenge. "I'm gonna kill you, ya little son of a bitch!," Jethro yelled at Xavier. "Oh. I'm sure," Xavier said. "Now tell us what we want to know and we'll let you go," Merri Weather said, stepping into the room. "You really think I'm going to tell you after you killed her? You're crazy. Go to hell!," Jethro yelled at them.
Jethro would rather die than tell them what they wanted to know. Even if it meant that he'd never get to see his team ever again. The most important thing in his life was Jack. The one he loved the most was Jack. She's dead now. All he wanted to do was kill Merri Weather and Xavier. Then he wanted to kill himself so he could spend all of eternity with Jack.
Xavier punched Jethro in the face and then his stomach. Jethro doubled-over at the pain. One of the minions sliced his face and Jethro groaned. They kept hurting him. They beat him with a bar. They punched him. They cut him, too. He was being very strong. He was dizzy, though.
