Chapter 19

(The next day)
Kate's pov.
Yesterday wasn't the best night ever. Seeing Ashton with those girls really made me sad and angry at him. He probably thinks I'm a slut but it's not my fault guys keep kissing me. It's 6:30 a.m and since its the weekend and no one has classes, I need to get to the showers early because I hate waiting. Everyone was out drinking last night and people probably won't be waking up till around 10 o' clock but I enjoy waking up early for some odd reason.

I walk to the public showers and I bump into someone. Why do I always bump into people? I look up and I see Ashton. The last person I wanted to see right now. Why do things like this always happen to me?

"Hey I was wondering, is there guys on this campus that you haven't made out with yet?" Ashton says.

"You're a jerk." I say.

"At least I'm not a slut."

"I'm surprise you're not still hungover by all those body shots you took. And you say I'm a slut, what do you think those girls are, huh?"

"Well-"

"No shut up, okay? You are full of bullshit, you lied to me and made me think you still had feelings for me but all you did was play with my feelings, I'm not your fucking play doll. You can't just play with someones emotions like that." I say and walk away.

The showers weren't far, I got there as fast as I could.

I opened the curtain and turned on the water. When I turned around, Ashton was there and I jumped a little.

"What are you doing here?" I say sternly.

"Our conversation wasn't finished, you can't just walk away from someone like that." he says.

"A conversation? Ashton that was an argument not a conversation." I say.

"Whatever and what happened to being friends?" He asks.

"How can you expect me to be your friend if you keep being an asshole with me." I say.

"But you kissed another guy right after I told you... ya know..."

"Ashton he kissed me. I don't expect it when guys kiss me, I didn't make that decision but you made the decision to go take body shots and make out with those girls." I say.

"I'm sorry, I really am. I was just mad and inconsiderate ." he says and takes a step closer to me.

"Ashton-"

"Can I please kiss you?" He says after a long moment and puts his hands on my hips. He sounded to weak and hopeless. I looked into his eyes and that's when I saw it, I saw my old Ashton, the one that was so sweet and such a great person. That Ashton is still in there.

I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him. I had that weird feeling in my stomach. I guess I could say I had butterflies. I missed kissing his hot, soft lips. He pinned me against wall. He's so strong.

I can still hear the shower running. I couldn't help but laugh.

"What?" He says.

"Nothing, nothing." I say.

"What, tell me." he says.

"Well the showers still running and I just thought of something." I say.

"God I love that dirty little mind of yours." he says and smiles.

"You wanna?" I ask.

"Sure but we're not gonna-"

"No- well.. no. We'll just make out." I say wrapping my arms around his neck.

"As long as your fine with that, so am I." He says and kisses my forehead.

We get undressed but we keep our undergarments.

We hop in to the shower both giggling like children.

He stops laughing and he just stares at me.

"Is- is there something wrong?" I say.

"You're so beautiful." He says and I laugh and cup his face.

"You're so sweet." I say.

"Wasn't I an asshole and a jerk 5 minutes ago?" He says.

"Just shut up and kiss me." I say and he does as asked.

Our warm wet bodies together wasn't the worst feeling in the world, it was quite nice. My hands in his wet hair was actually really really nice.

I could feel him smile through the kiss. He's such a cutie.

And then, we hear someone walk into the bathroom. Who the hell is up this early.

I press my fingers on Ashton's lips.

"Kate? Is that you in the shower?" I hear Anna's voice say.

Fuck.

"Uhm yeah." I say and look at Ashton and he looks terrified. If she finds us like this she will kill Ashton.

"I knew you'd be here." She says.

"Can I see you 2 seconds I need to ask you something." she says.

"Anna, I'm in the shower." I say.

"Come on it's not going to be the first time I see you naked." She says and Ashton's face just lights up.

"Anna can't you tell me later, I really just want to take a shower in peace." I say.

"Kate, what's up with you?" She says.

"Nothing." I say.

"If you're not coming out I'm coming in." She says.

I take off my bra really fast and stick my head out of the certain.

"Okay, what." I say.

"Okay so Kevin asked me out on a date but we're afraid it's going to be awkward so can you come with us?" she asks.

"Anna, I don't want to be a third wheel." I say.

"Well that's the best part, it can be a double date, you can come with Aron." She says.

"But me and Aron aren't dating we're just friends." I say.

"Oh come on Kate, we both know you guys are going to end up dating sooner or later." She says.

"Uhm I don't know about that, he's really nice and all but-"

"Please don't tell me it's because of Ashton." She says.

"Anna-"

"Kate you have to move on, he clearly has and you can't keep waiting for him, he's a jerk and you know that." She says.

I felt Ashton reach out to hold my hand and he squeezed my hand tight.

"Please just come with us." She begs.

"It'll get your mind off things and if after the first date you still don't want to date Aron, it's okay. Just one time, pleeeeease." she begs and I couldn't help but say okay.

"Yay! Okay I'll see you later." she says and runs out of the shower room all jumpy and happy.

I couldn't look at Ashton I took my towel and got out of the shower. I felt him wrap his arms around me from behind.

"It's okay." He says and kisses my neck.

"I'm really sorry it's just that-"

"Kate, it's okay. I would of done the same. Don't worry." He says.

I turn around and kiss him and then I just stay in his arms with my head on his chest.
