Chapter 6

(one week later)

Kate's pov.

I haven't talked to Ashton since our 'fight'. I can't believe he had feelings for me, I think I used to before Luke but now I'm all confused.

Today is Saturday and Luke invited me to his house with Calum and Michael, Ashton couldn't come because apparently he was busy... sure.

I knocked on Luke's door and he opened it right away and kissed me.

I walked into his house and i sat on the couch where the others guys were.

Calum and Luke were playing Call Of Duty, me and Michael just watched.

"Kate I know what happened with you and Ashton." Michael says not too loud.

"He told you.." I say.

"Yeah, do you like him though?" Michael asks.

"I use too, I think, but i'm just not sure anymore and I'm happy with Luke." I say.

"So what are you going to do?" Michael asks.

"I don't know, Ashton's my best friend, I don't want to lose that but I also really like Luke." I admit.

"So what are you going to do?" He asks.

"I don't know I can't break up with Luke, that's for sure." I say.

"Can't or won't?" He asks.

"Both." I say.

The two other boys finished there game.

"Hey Kate, we have some friends in England they're coming to visit us." Luke says talking to me.

"Really? Cool what's there names?" I say.

"Harry, Louis, Niall, Liam, and Zayn." Calum says.

"Niall's from Ireland though." Michael adds.

"Cool, I can't wait to meet them, when are they coming here?" I ask.

"Tomorrow." Luke replies.

I just smile and nod.

Me and the guys were talking and Luke was on his phone texting someone.

"Who are you texting babe?" I ask.

"Ashton.." He replies after a moment.

He looked angry as he read the text.

"Guys can I talk to Kate for a minute please." Luke says.

Oh god did ashton tell him... most probably.

Calum and Michael nod and they go to the kitchen.

"Do you have anything to say before I start talking?" Luke says.

"Luke, look, me and Ashton are just friends, nothing happened, I promise, we were just hanging out at his house and he asked me how it was going between us and I said it was perfect and then he asked if I loved you and I said yes and then he got mad because he has feelings for me." I explain.

"Nothing has ever happened?" Luke says.

"Well except for you know cuddling up during a movie, but that was before we ever dated." I say.

"Do you have feelings for him?" Luke asked worried.

"Maybe? I don't know Luke, I'm confused but I do know that i really really like you." I say.

"Well maybe we should take break, so that you can have time to think about all this." He says.

"A break or breaking up?" I ask.
