Chapter 12

Kate's pov.

The feeling of Ashton's lips on mine was perfect. We broke away from our kiss when someone walked in. It was Luke and Harry followed by Anna in back of them.

"I knew you'd go for Ashton." Harry says with a harsh tone.

"He's right." Luke says with an even harsher tone. I guess he has the right since I left Luke because I had feeling for Ashton. I wasn't sure at the time but now I know he's the one for me.

"Why would you care, you don't like her anymore." Anna says with a playful tone. She doesn't seem bothered by this.

"It's my choice! I wasn't sure about my feelings for Ashton but now I am." I say look at Ashton and smiling.

Ashton takes my hand and holds it and it makes me calm down a little.

"She's just a whore." Luke says to Harry and he nods.

"You better keep your mouth shut if your going to speak like that about my girlfriend." Ashton defends me.

"What the hell mate! Its always been bro before hoes!" Luke says.

"Its true, friends are always before girls." Harry says.

"She's my best friend and I happen to like her." Ashton defends. "and it still gives you no right to treat my girlfriend that way." Ashton called me his girlfriend, aw.

"Girlfriend?! You'll see, in a week she'll have feelings for another dude." Luke says.

Ashton gets up and punched him.

Luke was knocked out.

Anna was just in shock by what just happened. Her boyfriend calling her best friend, me, a whore. And my boyfriend, Ashton, knocking him out.

I don't think Ashton has ever hit or hurt someone before, Ashton wouldn't even hurt a fly and now he knocked Luke out cause he insulted me.

"Ashton!" Harry says shocked and glares at him. "You can't hit your best friend like that because he called your girlfriend a whore, and it's not like he was lying." Harry says.

Is that what people think of me... a whore, a slut?

"If you dont leave right now, I will punch you too." Ashton says.

"Okay, but don't come back telling me she broke up or cheated on you in a week." He says and leaves the room.

The nurse comes into the room shocked.

She brings Luke to another room once he's conscious.

I want to cry and right now I just wish Ashton would have never came back to find me.

"Can I just be alone?" I ask as a tear streams down my face.

"Okay." Anna says and leaves the room but Ashton doesn't move.

"Can I just talk to you first?" Ashton asks and I nod.

"Promise me you'll never cut again." He says. "I heard this song while I was waiting for you to wake up before and I wanted you to hear it. I downloaded it on you phone." He says and leaves the room before I can say anything.

I go on my phone and I find the song, its called baby don't cut. I put in my headphones and I press play.

"She's only 17 her whole life's ahead of her.

She hates school because the people they discredit her.

Her boyfriend tries to show her that's not how it seems.
