Wrong Number

It was already late when i woke up. Kinapa ko ang kabilang bahagi ng kama. But i immediately opened my eyes when i can't feel Jack.

She's not here! I stand up quickly that made my head hurt.

"Argh!" i winced in pain. Pinilit ko pa ring libutin ang paligid para hanapin si Jack.

"Where the hell did she go?!" then i saw the pajamas i wear to her last night.

Wala na rin bakas ng gamit nya sa kwarto. She left without saying a word to me.

I decided to take a bath first and went straight to her office.

"Hi ma'am!" salubong sa akin ng isang engineer nya.

"Where the hell is your boss?!" i asked to him. Mukang natakot pa siya sakin at kinakabahang tinuro ang meeting room.

Dali dali akong nagtungo dun pero hinawakan ako nito sa laylayan ng damit ko bago pa ako makapasok.

"May meeting po siya kasama ang ilang prospect client." because of that i tried to calm myself.

I breathe in and out then went to her office.
I sat down comfortably to her swivel chair. I closed my eyes and massage my temple. Sumakit talaga ito sa biglang bangon ko.

Sino ba naman hindi mabibigla diba? We sleep hugging each other then i will wake up without her. Ano? Ganon na lang yun basta basta? Tsk

Few minutes later hindi pa rin siya bumabalik sa office niya. I was so bored and sleepy. Hindi ko namalayan na nakatulog na pala ako.

When i woke up again, i saw Jack sitting beside me and busy with her laptop. I watch her while doing her things.

"Why are you here?" she asked without looking at me.

"Tsk! You left me without saying anything!" i hissed on her but she didn't reply on me.

"Kumain ka na?" i asked her. Nagugutom na kasi ako. Wala pa akong kain.

"Hindi pa. I'm busy." i frown with her cold answer. Then she called someone in her phone.

"Nakita ko yung report mo! Ano ba naman ito?! Diba last week ko pa sinabi na ayusin mo ang trabaho mo?!" she's reprimanding someone on the line. After that, she look at me.

"Go home and eat." i rolled my eyes and grab her hand.

"Let's eat, Love." binawi nya sakin ang kamay niya at nanatili sa harap ng laptop.

"Marami pa akong gagawin."

"Yes! And one of them is eat with me." i insisted.

"Dito ako kakain sa office ko." she said without looking at me.

"Okay. I'll just order a food for us." i smiled at her sweetly and dialed a fastfood chain.

"I can eat alone. Bakit ba nandito ka? Wala ka bang ibang gagawin?" she said irritated.

"I'm on leave at my work to be with you. I'm so sweet right? Hehe" she's not looking at me so i grab her face using my hands and force her to look at me.

"Right, Love?" she shook her head and trying to get away from me but i hold her face tightly.

"You're so annoying! Nagpapahard to get ka na naman! Parang kagabi lang kulang na lang kainin mo yung labi ko and you told me, you still love me numerous times!" i reminded her.

"Lasing ako nun." she said coldly.

"Ke lasing o hindi pareho lang yun!" i said mimicking Liza Soberano lines in her movie.
