Reincarnated as Rikuo's Twin Brother | Nurarihyon no Mago

Hey there, Nura

After receiving word of his friends' capture, Rikuo finally turned himself back into his yokai form. 

With his hundred demons in tow, Rikuo raided the *Kyuso clan's base of operations. However, what everyone thought to be a grand battle between the 3rd heir and the pesky rat head, was instead met with a suspicious person.

"You, who are you!?" The floating head, Kubinashi pointed.

Rikuo's eyes narrowed at the extremely familiar person, who was he, and why did they look so much alike.

Reiji sat on top of the cage in his yokai form, both Kana and Yura were nervous at this sudden gathering of yokais. Looking at his transformed older twin, he couldn't help but be happy and sad at the same time. He was happy that Rikuo was starting to accept his role and unhappy that he was weak.

"Who am I you ask?" Reiji grinned, "I'm hurt Kubinashi, I'm hurt that not one of you remembers me." He said as he jumped down and faced his back to the two prisoners.

"How do you know my name!" Kubinashi shouted as everyone put their guard up, everyone but Rikuo.

Momentarily turning around, Reiji smiled at Kana and Yura.

"Lord of the Pandemonium, Supreme commander of the Yokais, Nurarihyon of the present." Reiji began, "All those titles, all those yokais you rule, yet you are a disappointment." Reiji narrowed his eyes to Rikuo.

"Who are you and why are you here?" Rikuo asked calmly yet with a cautious voice.

Hearing the small interaction between the two yokais, Yura couldn't help but wonder. "The yokai in blue. . He's the Leader of the yokais, and he. . ." Yura glanced at Reiji 'is he their enemy?'

"Honestly Nura-sama, you should stop asking who I am, and start asking who you are!!"

At that moment, Reiji lunged forward to attack Rikuo. With his Katana unsheathed he delivered a slash to his chest, but before he could even reach him, Reiji was blocked by Kurotabo and Kenjoro. 

Aotabo then acted quickly and headed for the cage to release the prisoners.

Getting in between Kurotabo and Kenjoro, Tsurara released a cold breath, strong enough to encase Reiji in a coffin of ice. In a beat, Reiji released his form and turned into his fear, appearing behind Rikuo.

"Young master, watch out!!"

Quickly blocking the strike, Rikuo took a long step back, only to dodge another strike coming from the side. 'He's fast!' Rikuo thought while fixing his stance. It had only been a few moments yet Reiji already had the upper hand, Rikuo was a bit of a tight spot.

"Do you see what I mean, Mister Third heir of the clan?" Reiji spoke nonchalantly while pointing his blade at Rikuo. "You were surprised weren't you, on how I could suddenly appear behind you."

Rikuo couldn't answer back, Reiji was right.

A feeling of worry and anxiety crawled on Rikuo's back, thankfully his form during the night helped those feelings at bay, but he knew that this mysterious person was right and it wasn't a great feeling to have.

"Young master, please step back," Aotabo said clenching his fists.

"We'll handle this Rikuo-sama." Tsurara quipped 

"We will take care of him for you." Another spoke. 

Every one of the yokais surrounded Rikuo in protection, they were worried that the young master would get overwhelmed and suddenly attacked again. Noticing that everyone was with him, those feelings slowly flew to the back of Rikuo's mind and faced Reiji confidently.

"Hm. . ." Rikuo smiled faintly.

Seeing as both Kana and Yura had escaped, Reiji lowered his weapon. This action surprised everyone, somehow calming the atmosphere. Reiji had already made his point and there was no point in fighting anymore, it was time to leave.

Taking a glance at Rikuo and Tsurara, Reiji let out a sigh.

"We'll meet again Rikuo."

And with that, the fight was over.

Similar to the original, Kana was attracted to the mysterious individual who saved them. She watched Rikuo's back slowly fade with the early morning mist, leaving Keikain Yura suspicious of the said yokai.

However, with Tsurara it was another case. A confusing flurry of emotions had filled her mind, unable to forget about Reiji's figure.
