After a long and boring day, school has come to an end, allowing Reiji to introduce himself to Rikuo's human friends.
Standing up from his seat, Reiji wanted to approach the eccentric president of the Paranormal Patrol, Kiyostsugu. However, before he could, the seaweed head already approached him.
"Good afternoon, Kareki-san!" He greeted somewhat arrogantly. Kiyotsugu has always been that character filled with confidence and pride, making him seem somewhat arrogant. Reiji never really like those types so Kiyotsugu really irked him.
Nevertheless, Reiji had to hand it to the guy for being a kind bastard.
Giving him a soft smile, Reiji raised his hand, "Good afternoon, Kiyotsugu-san. I can already guess what you're going to ask me."
Kiyotsugu was confused for a second, but then cheerfully accepted the handshake and proceeded to slap Reiji in the back.
"AHAhahaha-! You're a smart guy Kareki-kun! Can I call you that? Very well then, I accept you as a new member of the Paranormal Patrol!" He began his tangent, "We, as comrades, will embark on a journey outside of campus to celebrate a new companion! AhahahahHAHAHA!"
'Honestly, what's wrong with this guy. .' Reiji thought as he watched Kiyotsugu laugh his ass off.
Soon enough, Kiyotsugu's loud announcements attracted the other Patrol members.
"Journey, what do you mean journey?" The blond boy, Shima asked.
"Are we going on a trip or something?"
"Ohh, an excursion?"
Saori and Natsumi added.
Kiyotsugu smiled proudly as his clubmates gathered for an explanation, "At ease everyone, I'll explain when all of us gathers here." He said, seeing as Kana and Tsurara weren't in the room.
Quickly finding the opportunity, Reiji silently raised his hands.
"I'll go find Ienaga-san." He volunteered.
"Very well then, Shima-kun you go find Oikawa-san!"
"Roger!~" Shima then happily skid to the classroom next to theirs.
As the two left, Kiyotsugu wondered, 'When did I tell Kareki-kun my name? Ma~ whatever' but immediately brushed it off.

On the rooftop, Reiji saw Kana leaning on the railings, staring emptily at the bright blue sky.
To Reiji, Kana was a likable but also annoying character. Her attraction to the Night form of the Nura heir was understandable, she was kind and also drove a bit of a pure fanservice plot, he didn't see her as a bad character. But, she just had to be. . had to be dumb, emotionally.
'Can't be helped though,' Reiji thought as he approached Kana.
Placing a hand on her shoulder, he called out her name, "Ienaga-san, Kiyotsugu-san is calling for us."
Hearing Reiji's voice, Kana almost thought it was Rikuo calling for her, but subconsciously dismissed the idea due to his colder voice.
"Eh, your. ." Turning around, Kana was surprised, "You're the transfer student, Kareki-kun right?" She didn't expect the new student to suddenly call out for her.
"Yes, something about a trip. He wanted everyone to hear about it together." Reiji said smiling wryly at her shocked expression.
"Trip? Are you talking about the Paranormal club, I didn't know you were a member."
"Ah, I joined just now."
"I see. Welcome to the group then!" Kana smiled they went down a flight of stairs.
Reiji smiled back at her out of politeness.
Seeing that smile, Kana remembered a small memory about the previous night. The image of the tall yokai quickly overlapped with Reiji's figure. Their smiles looked alike for a moment, but Kana knew it was just her head messing with her.
Quickly shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Kana walked in front of Reiji in a rush.
"Let's hurry up, Kareki-kun!"
"Right behind you."
Within only a few moments, the pair had arrived in their classroom.
As Reiji slid open the door, he was suddenly met with a pair of eccentric yellow eyes.
Happily turning around, Tsurara thought that Rikuo had finally arrived. With a cool aura and a warm smile, she greeted the person who entered.
"Young Master, you final--eh . ."
However, instead, it was a different person who entered.
"You. . . I know you. ." Tsurara stuttered just before she realized what was happening,
Reiji completely forgot how Tsurara would still be at school. Supposedly, Tsurara would have forgotten that Rikuo got sick and didn't come to school, leading her to have to rush back home to take care of him.
It was a miscalculation on his part to not right the plot when he still completely remembered it, now Tsurara would become aware of him before Rikuo did.
Noticing the extremely familiar face, Tsurara suddenly had an epiphany. Images of a smaller Reiji flashed in her head, fragments of memories came rushing in, all of her erased memories came flooding in all at once. How. . how could she have forgotten!
Noticing the Tsurara's sudden stop, all eyes gathered at the two.
Seemingly worried at her condition, Shima approached a shocked yuki-onna.
"Oikawa-san are you okay?"
"Reiji. . " Tsurara muttered
"Eh?"
"You're the Young ma--" Quickly shutting her up with a hand, Reiji looked at everyone's worried looks with a fake bright smile.
"Wa~ Long time no see Oikawa-san! It's been so long hasn't it?"
"You know each other, Kareki-kun?" Kana asked standing beside the pair
"Yeah, our families knew each other!" Reiji beamed, quickly thinking of an excuse. "Oikawa-san and my family would spend most of their time partying around each other, so we normally met when we were young."
"Ohh~ I see."
"Well, what a great reunion we have!"
"Another one. . "
As everyone gave their nod of understanding, Yura stared suspiciously at Reiji for a moment, but then quickly erasing her speculations.
The day would continue, as everyone realized Rikuo was missing, the two yokais rushed to the Nura estate, leaving Tsurara with her thoughts as she arrived first.
