I propped myself on one foot stopping me from falling down into the pit of darkness. As I looked around, I couldn't find anyone else since there's nothing much except from the gloom gathering around me.

"Who appeared at the camp?" A cold harsh voice bellowed and echoed along the darkness below me, making me flinch from shock.

Turning to face a lady with curly black hair with a bright green flowing dress (which looked like a stream flowing peacefully but it was forested green, not sea green) and a boy, I quickly shifted to find somewhere to hide.

The boy wearing a biker jacket with his blonde hair sticking out in every direction said to the lady with a voice which sounded very, very convincing. Well, he looked attractive already even in the darkness and with his voice; he seemed almost like an angel. But he wasn't.

"Twins of Hades," his answer was short to the point without further elaboration.

"Twins? Not only a child but twins? I think Hades is blessed with twins for his children," the mysterious lady chuckled without any humor present in her tone which made me shiver from fear. It seemed as if she was radiating fear from herself.

Furthermore, I got the feeling they were talking about me and Alex.

What else could they be talking about? Are there one more set of Hades' children? If so, I really respect your dad, you know. For having three sets of twins.

I rolled my eyes at my own thoughts of my inner self.

"Yes." Again, an answer short to the point. That guy must be really cold-hearted.

You know what would be nice? If he is a hot god with laid back personality and easy-going but from what I judged from his reaction to the lady whom might be his superior with a harsh manner as if he wanted no one to cross the boundaries.

Maybe he was like that. Maybe I could have a love story after my life have changed.

Hold! This isn't a time for my teenage girl hormones to get in the way. I need to focus on the big change in my life. First thing first, I need to concentrate on what was going on.

"...the conditions?" that lady asked the boy who was now wiping his black colored sword with the hum of his blue shirt. Don't ask me how I saw the shirt color in a pitch dark whatever-the-place-is, I had no idea.

Perhaps children of Hades have night vision because they have to adapt to the darkness in the Underworld. No surprise there.

"He gets to rule the half of the world," the hot guy replied, looking bored which made him look way cooler. I know hot and cool doesn't apply to each other but you get the idea.

The peaceful-looking lady groaned with such exasperation. "Only because I'm in no condition to take care of those little retards who blasted me with their low tactic... Leo Valdez, I can't stay relaxed until I kill you with my very own hands."

I studied her dress and my eyes reached her eyes which were looking into my direction and suddenly they glowed green, very green.

That is when I woke up in cold sweat, gasping for air. I looked at surrounding and it was totally different from what I saw in my dream, pitch black. The morning sun pours out of the window across the Hades' cabin where I was once in my beauty sleep, more like a nightmare sleep.

My bed was designed like a coffin and painted black and red. Last night, Nico grumbled to himself something like, "Why is everyone thinking we are some vampires? We are children of Hades for God's sake!"
