DISCLAIMER: in the upcoming chapters I'll be using Olivia Rodrigo's song 'Drivers License'. For the purpose of the story, I will be saying that Jorgia Taylor wrote it, which is obviously not the case. I do not own the rights to 'Drivers License', I did not have any involvement in the creation or release of the song, I am just using it for fictional creative purposes. I wanted to make that clear so I don't get into a lawsuit situation over copyright infringement or something like that lol.
I hope you're enjoying the story so far, it gets really juicy real soon so ima let you read on :)

*time skip brought to you by Ben, Sky and Josh as the Schuyler sisters*

"Are you sure it's okay? I don't know whether people will like it or not, and what if they don't? It's a big risk mixing it with an original"

"Jorgia honest to god it's the best one you've ever made, I love it so much." Ella reassures me "you look insane, you sound insane what's there not to like? Just post it, you won't regret it i promise."

"Okay, if you're sure." I press post on my latest singing video - a mashup of 'Burn' from Hamilton and a song I wrote called 'Drivers License' (ironic title considering I'm 16 and can't drive lol).

I slide down into box splits before taking a sip of my hibiscus. Oh the joys of being an OTS. I've almost finished my coursework for the summer, which means I can drag Ella with me to Wholefoods to get some pineapple before the matinee. Pineapple is now my go to on double show days, I've never really liked it but it is a miracle worker on my throat so I put up with it.

After I finish my work from before the summer, Ella and I walk to Wholefoods to get 'the goods'. It's a gorgeous hot July morning so we decide to head to Central Park before I need to get back to the theatre for the matinee. It must be at least 86°f. The sun is up, the clear, blue sky is picture perfect: how could this day get any better?
We find a spot on the grass to set up shop, just as we sit down Ella's eyes go wide and her jaw drops as if it's going to fall of its hinges.

"Oh my god" she whispers, so quietly it's barely audible above the hustle and bustle of Central Park.

"What?" I question. I'm extremely confused why this girl looks like the 'Annabelle' doll all of a sudden

She looks at me and then back at her phone. It's a good minute before she finally answers "Its your video. You've-"

I grab Ella's phone before she can finish her sentence to see what on earth she is going on about. Oh my god. 2.5 million views. And it's been 43mins since I posted it.
Ella looks over at me but I can't seem to take my eyes off of the numbers. How has this happened? Why has this happened? Do people like it or are they making fun?

I feel the phone snatch out of my grip as Ella pulls me up off the ground, the biggest smile plastered on her face.
"Jorgia you're famous. YOU'RE FAMOUS!!" She screams, making the entire park turn and look at us like we're nutcases. "You won't forget me when you become a megastar, will you? And promise me you'll ask Ben out? He'll never say no to this!" She points the video in my direction. The cheeky little-

"Ella calm down, people are staring! I'm not famous, but I promise I'll never forget you, because how could I forget someone as annoying as yourself?" I nudge her in the side before she proceeds to shove me "But unfortunately I cannot agree to that last part, I don't even like the boy. It ain't gonna happen." We've not been at the park long and I wanted to sunbathe for a bit, but Ella's bladder decides otherwise so we head back to the theatre. She may be a year older than me, but god she can be a toddler when she wants to.

I pop two pieces of gum in my mouth before looking down at my phone. I've just finished the matinee and  it's safe to say that I am overjoyed to have my wig off - my head was sweating like hell on that stage! I open up Instagram to check through any messages that might've come through during the show, (Amy loved messaging me mid-show because she knows it annoys me lol) and my eye is instantly drawn to the views on the video.

Jeez

10 million

It's been 4 hours

"You've seen it haven't you?" Ella turns to face me "Do you know what this means?"

"What?" I begged, still in shock

"You are the next big thing."
