Chapter 3

Mabilis na lumipas ang unang linggo ng klase.

Today is Sunday, that means mom and dad is here!

"Good morning mom" I kissed her cheeks.

"Good morning dad" I hugged him.

"Good morning sweetheart" they both said.

We are eating breakfast today, and this moment is very rare because they're both busy running our company and other businesses. Minsan nga lang kami nagkikita kahit pa nasa iisang bahay lang kami.

"How's school sweetheart?" my mom asked.

"It's fine mom" I answered.

"By the way sweetie, I want you to come with us tonight" dad suddenly said.

"Where are we going dad?" I asked him. This is new, hindi naman kase nila ako sinasama kahit pa importanteng bagay 'yan.

"We're going to attend my business partner's party" he said.

"Don't worry, Luna and Rese will be there too" he added.

Ayun naman pala eh, basta nandon silang dalawa okay na.

After breakfast, I called Luna and Rese and asked them if they will attend too.

"Yes, bessy. Dad told me about the party kanina sa breakfast. Naninibago din kase ako" sagot ni Rese.

"Me too. I think something is going to happen later, I'm not sure about it tho" sagot naman ni Luna.

"Do you think they'll reto us to their business partner's son?" I asked out of nowhere.

"Bes, thats what i'm thinking too" dagdag ni Luna.

"Really? Omg! Dapat pretty tayong tatlo mamaya, geez I'm so excited!" tuwang tuwa na sabi ni Rese.

"Muntanga naman Rese, maganda naman na tayo kahit di na paghandaan" sabi ko sakanya.

"Ewan ko sayo Avi, ang hangin mo talaga, pero true naman na we're pretty!" sabat naman ni Luna.

Tumawa kaming tatlo hanggang sa mapagkasunduan namin na mag beauty rest muna para mamaya. Syempre it was Rese's suggestion.

Night came and we're all ready. Mom and Dad is waiting for me downstairs. I'm wearing a v- neckline lace-up maxi red dress and a pair of Louis Vuitton heels.

"Sweetie, you look gorgeous" dad said with sparkling eyes.

"Oh come on dad, I know naman eh, kanino pa ba nagmana eh kay mommy lang naman" sagot ko sakanya.

"Osya, let's go hon baka ma late tayo" mom said habang nakangiti.

"Bessy! omg you're so pretty talaga" salubong sa'kin ni Rese.

"Ang oa mo bes, kayo din namang dalawa ni Luna, hindi halatang pinaghandaan 'nyo eh" I smirked.

"Ano ka ba wag ka maingay, minsan lang naman ako mag ayos bes" natatawang tugon ni Luna.

"So, what are you waiting for? Let's find boys na!" excited na sabi ni Rese.

We immediately roamed around the place. The place is beautiful, it was well-prepared. The red-themed party suits my outfit well.

The guests are elegant and business talks is everywhere.

I was enjoying the view when someone bumped me. Again.

I gazed up and saw a handsome man. No, gorgeous to be exact.

What? No! He's not gorgeous!

"Ano ba? ikaw na naman? why do you keep on bumping me? wala ka ba talagang mata? bulag ka?" sunod- sunod na tanong ko sa asungot na binangga na naman ako.

"What the hell are you saying? ikaw nga ang bulag, tsaka why are you even here?" pagbabalewala niya sa tanong ko.

Eh kung sabunutan kaya kita 'jan?

"Obviously, I'm a guest here. Eh ikaw ba, anong ginagawa mo dito?" sagot ko sa kanya.

He smirked.

"You're asking me what am I doing here?" aniya.

I rolled my eyes.

"Ulit- ulit?" balik kong tanong sakanya.

"Excuse me miss, but this is my house. My father is the celebrant, so I don't need to explain to you" sagot niya.

Nanlaki naman agad ang mata ko. At luminga-linga sa paligid, at kung minamalas ka nga naman oh. Pinagtitinginan na naman kame.

Ano ba? ngayon lang ba kayo nakakita ng nagkakasagutan? punyeta naman ang chismosa kahit matatanda na.

A man in suit suddenly appeared beside the 'asungot'.

"Son, is there any problem here?" he asked.

"No dad, she just bumped at me" he answered while looking at me.

"What? No. It was you who bumped me. And this is not the first time you did it." sabat ko naman.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience hija" he looked at me.

"Lukas, son apologize to her" sabi niya kay 'Lukas' daw.

"But dad" angal niya.

"Son please not now, this is my day just please apologize" sagot ng dad niya.

Lukas sighed and looked at me intently before talking.

"I'm sorry"

Na conscious ako bigla, ewan ko ba parang di ako mapakali sa mga titig niya.

"A-ah it's fine, don't worry" Nauutal kong saad.

"Osya, I'll leave the both of you son and?" sabat ng daddy niya.

"Avi po. Avrielle Gonzales" sagot ko.

"What a small world" biglang sabi ng dad niya.

"Ano po?" tanong ko.

"Don't mind me hija, and you can call me tito Lexus" he said then smiled at me.

"O-okay po tito Lexus, see you po" sabi ko nalang.

He waved goodbye and walk away.

I was about to tell something to Lukas but when I looked at him, he was already walking away from me.

Ugh. kairita naman talaga oh!

Teka nga nasan na ba yung dalawang maharot kong kaibigan? Mga walanghiya talaga iniwan ako para makapaghanap ng lalake!

I decided to roam around to find my parents, when I saw them they told me that we're going home.

Bahala na 'yung dalawa magkikita rin naman kami bukas.
