Chapter 30

The war starts now.

Ang tatlong teams ay nakapwesto na sa harap ng unang tatlong properties na sisirain. Naka handa na silang lahat at command ko nalang ang hinihintay.

I checked my wrist watch. 7:28 na, 2 minutes more.

When the clock strike at exactly 7:30, I commanded

"Now".

I heard the leaders commanded their respective teams to attack, gunshots and screams of pain was also heard. Take a look at this Jake, never mess with me and my capabilities as a leader. This is for dad and for the innocent people you killed.

The attacks lasted for 30 minutes. As expected, those are the top teams in the organization.

"Mission completed, Miss" I heard Leo said.

"Good job teams, pack up you're things and leave the place untraced. Secure yourselves for possible dangers" I said.

"Copy Miss" they said.

Habang naghihintay sa pag update nila ay ni review ko muna ang mga susunod na attacks namin.

"The place is clear Miss, we are on our way pabalik sa HQ. Estimated arrival will be tomorrow morning" Leo said.

"Good" I answered.

The latter also confirmed their safety and already on their back here.

"Mission #1 success" I announced.

Naghiyawan naman ang lahat na nasa lobby.

1 down more to go. We got this.

The days passed quickly and tonight, will be the night to end it all. Tonight will be the last time you'll smile Jake.

"Mnemosyne, ayos na lahat" sabi ni Athena kaya tumango ako.

"Make sure you wear armors. Baka may traps pagdating or pag alis natin doon. Never let your guards down. Alam ni Jake ang na sa main HQ tayo susunod na aatake" paalala ko.

I changed the 3- day gap na schedule para sa pag attack. We waited 5 days for this night. I know Jake has something on his sleeve kaya di ako dapat makampante na magiging madali ang mission na ito.

The moment we arrived at their main headquarters, I told Leo to throw a rock.

When the rock landed, we saw bullets coming from the left.

I knew it. I knew something was off. Thanks to my instinct we avoided early casualties.

"Ria, take the frontlines. Leo, your team will be heading east. Ron, take the west and, Lia, your team will take care of the back lines. Also, protect the snipers at all cost. Ren, i'm assigning your team on protecting them. Kill anyone who comes near" I said.

Seryoso silang tumango.

"Athena you'll be with the snipers. Rese you accompany Gaia in taking down the cameras. I will be with Louise and the rest of the teams. Always remember to secure yourselves first. I can handle myself if something's wrong" I said.

Rese and Gaia walk their way through the cams sorrounding the place. I already discussed and showed them the blueprint of this warehouse.

"Let's do this!" I announced and everyone run to their places.

I looked at Louise and nodded.

We run to the frontlines at binaril ang lahat ng humaharang sa daan. I kicked their stomach and Louise punched their faces. We did alternately until we reached the frontlines.

"Mnemosyne, we destroyed all the cameras and their memory cards. No traces left" I heard Gaia said.

"Good. Assist me and Louise here while looking for Jake" I said.

"On the way" sagot niya.

"Mnemosyne something's off" sabi ni Louise sa tabi ko.

"I know and we need to climb up to the rooftop and see the place. My gut is telling me that they're gonna bomb this whole place" sagot ko kaya tumango siya at tumakbo pataas ng hagdan.

When we arrived at the rooftop, I saw Jake waiting for me.

"I'm surprised you found me here" sabi niya.

"I know your dirty little tricks Jake, you can't fool me again" I said.

"Louise tell everyone to vacate this place and run as far as they can. This place is filled with gunpowder" sabi ko kaya tumango siya.

Humarap ako kay Jake at ngumisi.

"Is this all you can do Jake? Ganyan ka ba kahina? Kaya pala hindi ikaw ang pinamanahan dapat ng tatay mo kasi lampa ka" sabi ko.

Ngatangis ang kanyang bagang at mapait na tumawa.

"Who cares about that? I am now the owner of my dad's properties" he answered.

"You own nothing now Jake. I destroyed everything you have. You only got your mama na galit na galit sayo" sagot ko at ngumiti.

"Shut the fuck up Avi, ikaw ang may kasalanan kaya nangyari saakin lahat to! Kaya mamamatay ka ngayon kasama ako" sabi niya at nilabas ang baril.

"Mnemosyne okay na" rinig kong bulong ni Louise kaya naman tumakbo ako papunta kay Jake na nakahawak sa baril.

Pinaputukan niya ako ng ilang beses ngunit nailagan ko yon. Hindi niya alam kung paano gumamit ng baril kaya ayos lang.

I kicked his chest and pulled his neck then slammed him on the ground.

"Sobrang sakim mo na ba sa pera kaya pinatay mo ang sarili mong kapatid na tunay na tagapagmana?" tanong ko sakanya na nagpupumiglas sa hawak ko.

"Wala kang pake sa desisyon ko sa buhay, eh ano naman kung pinatay ko yung gagong yun? Pinahirapan niya si mommy at pinapahiya dahil anak ako sa labas. Wala kang karapatang makielam sa buhay ko!" sigaw niya na namimilipit sa sakit.

"Ikaw ang unang nakielam sa buhay ko Jake, baka nakakalimutan mong ikaw ang may kasalanan sa pagkasira ng relasyon namin" sabi ko at
sinuntok ang mukha niya.

Umubo siya ng dugo at humalakhak.

"Dapat lang sainyo yon, sinira niyo ang buhay ko. Tsaka why bother talking to me now? Nasa kamay na ng tauhan ko ang pinaka mamahal mong Lukas" he said.

I pretended to panic kaya mas humalakhak siya.

"You can't bring me down Avi, kahit pa napakagaling mo. Titiklop ka pa rin sa mahal mo" sabi niya.

"You really think na maniniwala ako sa sinasabi mo?" tanong ko at tumawa.

Nilabas ko ang phone at tumawag lay Lukas.

"Tapos na ba jan, babe? kung wala pa patayin mo ang phone baka mapano ka, tapos na kong ligpitin lahat dito sa bahay nila Jake. Mommy niya nalang natitira" bungad ni Lukas.

Fear was evident in Jake's eyes.

"No you can't do this to me Avi, kaibigan tayo diba?" pagmamakaawa niya.

"Nope" sagot ko.

"Nate, pasabugin mo na ang lugar" sabi niya sa earpiece.

Nalintikan na, hayop talaga!

Mabilis na lumapit si Louise at pinukpok ng baril sa ulo si Jake at hinila namin paalis.

"1, 2, 3 go!" sigaw ni Louise bago kami tumalon pababa ng warehouse habang isa-isang nagliliyab ang bawat parte nito.

Nag landing kami sa kakahuyan kaya napa-aray kaming dalawa ni Louise.

"Aray naman!" reklamo niya pa.

"Mission Completed" sabi ko sa earpiece at tumawa.
