With Peter finally back in the compound from a recent mission with Tony and a few other Avengers, you seized the opportunity to spend some time with him. However, that was proven difficult with the post-mission aftermath that Peter had to undergo.

You were fine with it, knowing the routine by heart after all the times you went through the same things. Even though the two of you lived in the same compound, with the long hours Peter was working, you still longed for his presence. You were grateful he at least held you in the night, peacefully and lovingly.

You did, however, feel it was a perfect opportunity to do a certain tiktok trend with Peter. He's in the shower now, as you're sitting on his bed while scrolling through your phone. He's humming a song, putting on deodorant while he lets out the shower steam by keeping the door up.

Quickly, you sense he's about to walk into the room, so you pull up the trend and start the video.

"Hey, Peter?"

He hums in response, acknowledging you and silently encouraging you to keep going. He puts his shirt on, and just as he gets it over his mop of curls, your voice breaks through the air quietly.

"I felt like... you could've been a little nicer to me today."

He freezes, shirt placed sloppily on his chest. His brows are pulled together in a furrow and his lips form into a pout. "What?" He's gentle with his voice and with his words, stepping closer to you. "What's wrong, baby? 'M sorry."

"I just feel like you could've been nicer to me today." You hate yourself for this, because Peter looks like his heart is physically breaking. You keep the bit going, though. "You just... neglected me a lot."

"Baby, I'm sorry." he pouts harder, crawling over to you and grabbing your hand needily, finger intertwining with yours. "I know I've been really busy lately... I- I never wanted to ignore you."

You swallow thickly, and sense it's probably time to end the video and tell him you aren't being serious. He sniffles and you seriously freeze.

"Peter..."

"What?"

"This was all... a tik tok trend." He gasps, standing upright with wide eyes. "I'm sorry!" You sit up straighter, "I didn't think you'd react so much!"

"Y/N," he whines, dragging out the syllables. "You scared me!"

"I know," You pout, throwing your phone on the other side of the bed. You reach for Peter's hand, bringing him back down and into your embrace where you can truly hug him sincerely. "But you were so sweet."

"Yeah, I guess." He grumbles the words into your skin, head laying atop your chest. "Scared the shit out of me, though."

You laugh wholeheartedly, chest bouncing against him. "I do miss you, though."

He peers up at you, sniffles once more, and he smiles apologetically. "I miss you, too." He nuzzles back into your skin, sighing. "Need to cuddle more."

"Fuck yeah, you're the warmest person ever." You squeeze him a little tighter, and he chuckles against you.

"No more dumb tiktok trends, though." You pout and he knows it. "You always pull those on me!"

"You're just so naive," Your fingers run through his curls, tickling his scap while he hums in satisfaction. "I'm surprised you didn't hear of the trend."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

You smirk, but decide to let it go, as your fingers keep working their magic. The boy against you is too good to be true, and you can't bear to let go.
