"So recently," The interviewer, Letitia, begins. All at once, you know exactly what she's going to say. "You went Instagram-official with your relationship with... Marvel's Tom Holland. How's the feedback affected you and him, obviously?"

"Uhm, well," You rub your legs before crossing them. "We've received so much love, obviously, and it's- it's really great to see my fans be so supportive of my... switch to a somewhat more stable life." It comes out as more of a question and you chuckle with a simple nod. "Yeah, it's great. But of course, y'know," you itch your legs again. "There's always gonna be hate, it's part of the job, right? We did receive a tremendous amount of backlash for that first week, though. It was unbearable. The paparazzi questions were fuckin' ruthless," you laugh humorlessly.

"But in true Y/N L/N fashion," Letitia smiles, "You won't let it guide you, right? You'll just keep doing your thing."

"Yeah," You smile proudly. "I'm just gonna keep making music and releasing it whenever I want and I'm gonna be happy all on my own. Tom and I are both responsible adults and we're quite happy together so... our relationship isn't gonna get torn apart because of a few haters." You glance behind the cameras where your publicists and manager talk quietly amongst themselves. After a seconds worth of debating, you decide to just say it. "Fuck it," you smile, "I have a new single coming out next week called 'shut up.'"

Letitia immediately brightens up at the mention of new content. She seems to have a follow-up question for everything. "Would you say this is a response to all the useless hate you and Tom have received?"

You laugh, almost evilly, and smile into the camera. "I mean..." You offer a sly smile and shrug. "Say what you want."

"You heard it here, folks!" She says happily into the lens of the camera. "Make sure to stream Y/N L/N's new single when it comes out!"

When you got home that night — nearly four hours later — the interview had been released to the public. You & Tom were currently trending number one worldwide on Twitter, and your Instagram comments were flooded within a matter of minutes.

"Hey, love," Tom greets you in the doorway, leaning against it while crossing his arms. It makes his biceps bulge and he smiles coyly while you eye them.

"Hi," you greet, setting your phone down on the nightstand. He strides over to you, settling comfortably into your side and silently asking for a kiss. You pull him in for a sensual one, deepening and biting his bottom lip. He groans as you pull away.

"You're feisty tonight," he comments and you shrug in response, picking your phone back up. "You gonna post tonight?"

You nod, "Is that alright with you?"

"Of course, love." He wraps an arm around you while kissing your temple. "Show the world that you're my girl."
