Crow looked at Kaira while she slept. She was hooked up to a life support machine on Mazora's ship, and was resting. This was actually the first time Crow had seen her face. Glint appeared.
"Yknow that's a little creepy." Glint said.
"I'm making sure she rests without a problem." Crow replied.
"You should talk to the big guy, he looks lonely." Glint glanced over at Mazora, who was silently piloting the ship. Crow stood up and left Glint to watch over Kaira. Crow sat down next to Mazora.
"Got tired of looking at your girl?" Mazora asked without looking at Crow.
"She's not my...." Crow got annoyed. Mazora chuckled.
"You two are a pretty good team. Just when the time comes, make sure your relationship doesn't get in the way like it did before. Gate and Delilah made that mistake."
"I wish I could've gotten to know Gate better."
"Me too, pal. Me too."
Both of them were silent.
"How do the Seraphs live in Neptune? It's a gas planet."
"They can live inside the most dangerous conditions. They can create force fields that can withstand the strongest of winds."
As they approached the inside of the planet, the Planet's winds began to take a toll on the ship. Glint floated over to the two.
"Are you sure about this, Mazora?" Glint asked him.
"It's gonna be close, but once were inside the field, we'll be fine." Mazora replied.
But the glass of the windshield began cracking, and pieces of the wings began flying off. Crow stood up to prevent Kaira from falling off her bed. Once the field came into view, Mazora could see the massive city the Seraph's have built.
Once they made it through the bubble, every system and engine on the ship went offline, causing them to free fall towards the ground. As they fell, all of them, including Glint, got a massive headache and passed out. Their ship then plummeted into the ground.
As the hours went by, the Seraphs watched as nothing came out of the ship. After 7 full hours, Mazora kicked open an emergency hatch above the windshield. Mazora looked around at the city. It was as if they had created a city only a child could dream of. The skyscrapers were all made of a gold-like material and the main palace was so bright he could barely look at it. He couldn't look for long as he was hit in the head by Seraphs, who brought them to their Emperor, Harasil.
Crow awoke to being dragged on the ground, with Kaira and Mazora being dragged as well. Crow looked down to find Hawkmoon wasn't in it's holster, and his knives weren't either. As he was lost in thought, the Seraph dragging him threw him to the floor and held his head up, facing him towards Harasil.
"Guardians? In my world?" Harasil flew down to the Guardians.
"We come in peace." Mazora replied.
"Why come here?" Harasil walked over to Mazora and held his face in his hands.
"You're up to something. You're trying to assassinate Guardians. Why?" Mazora told Harasil in confidence. Harasil stood up.
"It's simple really. We are simply studying the Light."
"By killing Guardians? You're a liar Harasil." Mazora smirked.
"What?!" Harasil flew over to Mazora and picked him up by the jaw.
"You all know plenty about the Light. I mean, you have a damn library down that very hall, saw it on the way in."
Harasil stared at Mazora, before dropping him six feet or so up.
"Take them to the ring. Make sure there's an audience." Harasil floated back up to his throne and the Seraph's grabbed Mazora, the still unconscious Kaira, and Crow and dragged them onto a ledge, where a golden ring was set up, and thousands of Seraphs down below to watch. The Seraphs dropped the Guardians down infront of an armored Seraph called a Hangmaster and left them. The Hangmaster looked at the Guardians to find who should go first.
"You." The Hangmaster grabbed Crow by the head and tied him up on the ring, to where each of his limbs were tied to a different spot on the ring. The Hangmaster then picked up his spear and lit it on fire to a point where it was glowing.
"If you came to hear me beg, you'll be disappointed." Crow told the Hangmaster. The Hangmaster smirked and shoved the spear into Crow's chest, gaining a yell from Crow. While this was going on, Glint had quickly moved away from the commotion. He walked over to Kaira and rammed into her head, waking her up a little. He then transmated back into Crow's head.
As the crowd cheered, the Hangmaster began to pull off Crow's mask. But Mazora had cut through his bindings using Void and ran up to the Hangmaster, putting him in a chokehold and stabbing him with his own spear, killing the Hangmaster. The crowd began freaking out and flying up to take Mazora down. Mazora untied Crow and grabbed Kaira, and they ran back inside the palace as there was nowhere else to go. Eventually, they ran into Harasil and some of his soldiers.
"You cannot escape." Harasil began casting a spell at them. Mazora looked around but there was literally nowhere to go.
"Mazora??" Crow looked at Mazora, wondering if he had a plan.
As the Seraphs closed in, Crow ignited his Golden Gun and fired in every direction, killing almost every single Seraph, while Mazora threw two Nova Bombs in both directions. But the Seraphs overwhelmed them.
