The Crow was in a coma. A few weeks ago, Crow had collapsed and was unresponsive. When he was brought to a hospital, it was found out that he had a massive growth in his brain.
Ikora and Kaira stood next to Crow's body, while Cobra leaned against the wall. A medical-frame then walked into the room.
"Yes, after a second scan, it is not cancer, but something that is keeping him essentially brain dead." The frame said.
Kaira's knees fell out. She had only known Crow for a few months and he was her closest friend. Cobra made a skeptical grunt, and Ikora put her hand to her chest.
"Can you remove it?" Kaira asked.
"The only way we can remove it is if someone uses Light energy to transport it from his brain to the outside." The Frame replied.
"How'd you know this?" Cobra asked.
"I told him." Eris Morn appeared from outside the room.
"And how did you know."
"Because I did the same thing when my Light was taken from me."
"Explain." Kaira said.
"When my Light was failing, I used every last bit of it to create a mass that left A Knight in a small coma, but....it took everything that I had left." Eris looked at her ball.
"So whatever did this has Light capabilities then." Ikora noted.
"A Lightbearer?" Kaira asked.
"Impossible. They're is not enough Light in any of us to survive create this kind of thing." Eris replied.
"The only Lightbearer that could do this is Mazora then." Cobra said.
"Mazora would never do such a thing." Ikora told him.
"Then you're a fool."
"Then we find Mazora and find out if he did this or not." Kaira said.
"Ikora, you always know where he is, where is he?" Cobra asked Ikora.
Ikora hesitated.
"He said no one could know." Ikora replied after a few seconds.
"We need to know Ikora."
"He went to the Cosmodrome, at the Old Highway." Ikora hated herself for betraying her friend.
And so, Cobra and Kaira sped over to the Old Highway to find Mazora.
When they reached the Old Highway however, they found multiple bodies of Guardians, with their limbs scattered throughout.
"What the hell." Cobra said, disgusted.
Kaira knelt down next to a Guardian that was....the most intact, and examined her. It had seemed like Light energy was the cause of this.
"AAAHHH!!" A scream from an unknown man echoed from behind one of the cars. It was a Guardian who had survived.
Cobra ran over to him. Clearly, the Guardian was going to bleed out, and was holding the remnants of his Ghost.
"What happened?" Cobra asked, Kaira then joined them.
"He tore apart my friends..and..didn't have any emotion, like he was hypnotized!" The Guardian said, beginning to lose consciousness.
"Who?!"
"Mazora-7." The Guardian was then shot straight through the head by a multiple snipers up on the wall, they looked like they were apart of the Klu-Klux-Klan, but had black outfits instead, and a sun logo.
Cobra and Kaira dove into cover.
"Who the hell are these guys?" Kaira asked, loading her sniper.
"Why are you asking me?" Cobra jumped out of cover, summoned his Golden Gun, and gunned down all the snipers.
"Great, now they're disintegrated." Kaira said, annoyed.
