Crow kicked down the door to the building in The Core of the City. Kaira walked past him inside and started typing on a computer.
"If what Saint found is right, this could be bad." Kaira said, scrolling through at least a thousand files.
Crow looked at the giant door in the back of the room, well, it looked more like a container, similar in design to others found on Europa.
"Kaira, I don't think we should open this.." Crow put his ear to the door of the container.
"Trust me, whatever is in this thing has to do with helping the Exos in their fight for freedom." Kaira pressed enter on the computer and the container began to open. Crow got ready to face whatever would "help" the Exos.
Once the door opened, it revealed two 9 foot tall Exos. They were just standing there.
"What the hell..I've never seen such tall Exos." Crow said, walking towards them for a closer look. As he did though, one of the Exos grabbed him by the neck and chucked him across the room into a screen showing information about the City, knocking him out cold.
The other Exo came online and they both began to close in on Kaira. Kaira summoned Spectral Blades and began tearing away at the Exo's legs. Eventually, the Exos caught on and grabbed her by the head. The Exo then proceeded to tear off one of Kaira's arms.
Kaira screamed in agony and passed out. The Exo dropped her like she was a rock or something and marched toward Crow, who was still out.
"Wake up!" Glint pushed Crow's head to wake him up, but he was really out.
Saint-14 walked into a building to pay back some of his buddys from the past night of gambling.
"Here. This is all so I don't want anymore of your whining." Saint-14 laughed like he always does, no one else did.
"Thanks, Saint. It's always fun to have a Titan playing with us." One of the guys replied.
"Of course." Saint began walking away when he noticed a giant container catch his eye. He decided to open it to satisfy his curiosity, but it was holding hundreds of Exos, armed too. Saint, initially thinking these Exos were being illegally transported like products.
But these Exos weren't normal Exos, they were soldiers. The Exos immediately began shooting up the building. In fact, hundreds, even thousands of these containers holding Exo soldiers began opening across the Last City.
In 24 hours, the entire Last City was under the control of Clovis' Exo Army. Civilians were either killed or went into hiding, and Guardians that were on patrol down in the City were killed, permanently.
Zavala looked down upon the flaming city from the Tower. He was there for a few minutes before Shiro-4 came up to him.
"We've lost contact with Crow, Kaira, and Saint-14. We believe they're probably gone." Shiro said.
"Where's Mazora when you need him?" Zavala asked Shiro.
"I have no idea. He was last seen on Europa."
"Go there. Find him, and bring him home." Zavala turned back to face the Traveler.
Shaxx ran up.
"We've received an emergency transmission, to you." Shaxx said, his yelling tone gone.
Everyone that had to do with the Tower crowded around a screen in the H.E.L.M. On the screen popped up an Exo, Clovis.
"Guardians. This small invasion is a warning to you all. My Exos have taken over your precious Last City, and will do the same to your planet, Earth. I am Clovis Bray, and I will find a kill every last one of you." The transmission went off.
Immediately, everyone in the H.E.L.M broke into chatter, worrying about what to do next.
