Lights in the Dark

Zavala, Ikora, Shaxx, Saladin, Osiris, and Eris Morn all sat around the War Table in the H.E.L.M. 

"We can't go against those things! They're too powerful!" 

"They're mindless, and adapt to anything." 

"They aren't mindless, they are brainwashed." 

"Throw grenades at them!" 

"Shut up!!" Zavala snapped. "We are Guardians, when has anything stopped us. We never give up. And-" 

"Save it." Mazora walked in with Shiro and Elsie. 

"Mazora?!" Literally everyone at the War Table said at the same time. 

"Mazora has his Light back." Elsie said, pulling up a chair at the War Table. 

"That's amazing, we need your Light Mazora." Osiris noted. 

"Where's my Fireteam?" Mazora asked. 

Crow walked into the H.E.L.M with Kaira in his arms, her arm wrapped with the ripped cape from Crow's cloak. 

Mazora ran up to Kaira and took her from Crow. 

"Oh Kaira. Can anybody help her?" Mazora asked. 

"Bring her to me." Shaxx said. "Me and my Redjacks will set her up right." Shaxx picked up Kaira and carried her down to the Hangar. 

"Anyway." Zavala said. "Now that we're all here, we need a plan." 

"Kaira won't heal in time, and we still need a third person." Crow added. 

"I'll do it." Banshee-44 appeared with The Lament in hand, and a shotgun of course. 

"Banshee, you're not a Guardian.." Elsie said. 

"Yeah. But this AI is speaking bullshit. I wanna be the one to take em down." Banshee pumped his shotgun. 

"Are you sure Banshee?" Ikora asked. 

"I'm sure." 

"Well then, Banshee, Mazora, and Crow will move on Clovis. He's created a tower out of old SIVA and is trying to extract from the Traveler, we don't know why. Everyone else will finish off those Exo monsters." Zavala concluded. 

As Mazora and Banshee got ready to leave, Mazora noticed Crow wasn't there. Mazora walked down to the Hangar where Kaira was being fit with a new arm from Amanda Holliday, Crow was watching on a balcony. Mazora walked up next to Crow. 

"You sitting here like you'll never see her again." Mazora said, crossing his arms because that's just what he does. 

"What if I don't see her again, Mazora?" Crow replied. 

"Don't be talking like that. We can do this." 

"I love her Mazora. If I die, I would want to know I won't be alone. I've been alone all my life." 

"If you love her so much, why don't you tell her. Banshee and I will be waiting at the ship." Mazora walked off. 

Amanda fit in the last screws to Kaira's new arm. 

"Lookin good." Amanda said, putting her tools away. 

Crow walked up. 

"Can I have a minute with her, Holliday?" Crow asked. 

"Uh..sure." Amanda walked away. 

"Thanks for bringing me back Crow." Kaira said, holding her new arm. 

"You don't have to thank me. Kaira, there's something I need to tell you." Crow sat down next to Kaira. 

"Well, I have to tell you something too." 

Crow and Kaira got closer. 

A massive explosion went off. Then another, and another. 

"Battle stations!" Zavala said over a loudspeaker, the Tower was under attack.....again.
