Destiny 2: My Way (Part 2)

What Now?

Cobra, Ikora, Kaira, Eris Morn, Zavala, Osiris, and Shaxx all sat around the War Table. Some were whispering amongst themselves, such as Osiris and Zavala. Some just kept to themselves, such as Cobra and Kaira.

Mazora walked into the room, holding papers.

"Thanks to these pictures a Frame brought to me, we can get a definitive look at this thing." Mazora said, throwing everyone copies of a picture.

"Now. Does anybody have any idea what it is? Because, It was in my very mind and I had no idea." Mazora took a seat.

Everybody shook their heads, well, except Cobra, who sat there with his arms crossed.

"Something on your mind, Cobra?" Mazora asked.

"Some of this feels off. Like something is being hid from us." Cobra replied, taking a good look at everybody.

"That's not the problem Cobra." Crow walked into the room, with a metal plate on the side of his head. Mazora looked at Crow with wide eyes, well as wide as Exo eyes could get.

Crow took a seat next to Zavala.

"You look nice...with a piece of metal stuck to your head." Kaira commented on Crow.

"Thanks."

Mazora threw Crow a copy of the picture.

"Mazora. Did you? Put that thing inside Crow's head." Cobra asked, standing up.

"Cobra. That wasn't me."

"Well, you seem to be in full consciousness when you murdered that Titan."

"Take it easy, Hunter."

Mazora and Cobra got right up to eachother, and things looked like they were gonna get ugly.

"Sit down." Zavala stood up and demanded both of them.

They sat down.

"We have a good look at this thing, we know what it is capable of. Our only option is to find it." Zavala explained.

"And Mazora our only hope. He knows this creature and has a connection to it." Ikora added.

"Mazora, Cobra, Crow, and Kaira must find this creature and take it down before it "cleanses" this planet. Ada has detected an anomaly near where the Leviathan was, so Go down to Ada-1 and Holliday, she's been working on a ship for situations like this." Zavala sat down.

And so, Mazora, Crow, Cobra, and Kaira walked down to the Annex to meet with Ada and Amanda. Cobra was embarrassed as they approached them.

"Howdy. She's down there. Beautiful ain't she?" Amanda said, pointing down to the huge ship. The ship could carry five people, and had full quarters, cloaking, the fastest NLS drive around, and had a little Light-protection.

"She's something alright." Kaira said.

"I've also forged the weapons systems myself." Ada-1 approached.

"Thanks ladies." Mazora said, shaking both of their hands.

Later that day, Cobra walked up to Ada before they had to leave. She was working on whatever and he stood at the doorway.

"Yknow I might not be coming back." Cobra told her.

"What makes you say that?" Ada picked up the hand cannon she was making and moved over to another work station.

"Because this thing is a literal god. I've never fought Gods before Ada."

"Mazora has. You'll be fine." Ada put her hand on his chest.

Not able to contain himself, Cobra kissed her for the possible last time.

Initially, Ada was angry at him for doing this, but considering the circumstances, she let herself give in.

Mazora passed by, but turned around to find them.

"Was this supposed to be secret?" He asked, chuckling.

Cobra and Ada , both surprised, looked back at Mazora.

"Well, I guess it isn't now." Ada said, laughing.

"Just make it quick, were leaving in a few." Mazora left.

"Goodbye, my love." Cobra said to Ada.

"Just come back to me, please." Ada replied.

"I will." Cobra left.

Meanwhile, Crow and Kaira were packing up the ship with valuables and the like.

"Can you hand me that one?" Crow asked.

Kaira picked up a crate and handed it to Crow.

"So, how'd you get that thing out?" Kaira asked.

"I...don't remember." Crow replied after thinking for some time.

"Well, at least you're here." Kaira gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Cobra walked up.

"Hey, I think that's enough." Cobra said, throwing his bag around his shoulder.

"Well, we could always use more." Mazora replied, walking out of the ship.

And so, Mazora, Cobra, Crow, and Kaira left the planet Earth towards the anomaly detected by Ada.
