Destiny 2: My Way (Part 2)

Seven

Shiro-4 landed his ship near Exo Stranger's camp. As he had approached, he saw no Fallen anywhere in the Europa area. Shiro walked up to Elsie. 

"Are you the Stranger?" Shiro asked her. 

"Do I look like one?" Elsie replied. 

"I'm looking for Mazora-7, he's missing and the City needs him."

"I last heard from him at the crash of the Morning Star. Is something wrong?" 

"The City's been invaded by Exos led by Clovis Bray." 

"Let me help. He's my father." Elsie grabbed Shiro's arm as he began to leave. Shiro gave her a wierd look, even though he barely could make emotions with his face. 

"Why not. We need all the help we can get." 

Mazora-7 trudged through the icy wasteland of Europa. He had thought he had gone in the direction of Eventide, but he was in the middle of nowhere. As he walked farther, he lost his balance and fell to his knees, but he kept going. 

Eventually, Mazora found a black structure. It was the Europa Pyramid. He had no choice but to transmat inside for shelter. 

Shiro and Elsie followed a drop of Mazora's blood through Bray Exoscience, until they reached where Mazora had jumped out of the window. 

"You think he was the one who jumped?" Shiro asked Elsie. 

"He's jumped out of this window before, so I assume so." Elsie jumped out of the window into the storm. 

The second Mazora transmated into the Pyramid, he was teleported into the room containing the Statue. In front of him was a Titan, dead on the ground, his Ghost next to him also dead. 

Suddenly, the Hunter's body sprung up, being possessed. 

"You've returned to us." The Hunter spoke the words of the Darkness. 

"I won't fall." 

"You will, like your friend before you." 

Mazora, against his will, was risen up into the air and the substance surrounding the Darkness began to surround him. 

"Let your will free." 

Shiro and Elsie kept on moving through the wasteland, before Shiro's Ghost became possessed, forcing itself out of his head. 

"You are looking for the Chosen, correct?" The Darkness said. 

"What?" Shiro was confused. 

"Your Ghost is possessed. Where is he?!" Elsie approached the Ghost. 

"With us. He will fall, can you catch him?" The Ghost then fell, not dead, but asleep. Shiro picked it up. 

"Mazora's being possessed!" Elsie told Shiro.

"If he becomes....like the others, he'll be unstoppable."  Shiro replied. 

Mazora began to feel his mind fading, his thoughts slowing down. 

"You believe you are no longer with the Light? Then be with us." 

"I will never join you!" 

The Statue then seemed to come alive and grabbed at him. Mazora then exploded with Light, and released a burst of Light all around him, pushing away the Darkness. He landed ontop of the Hunter, knocking him out cold. 

Mazora summoned Light out of his hands, like he did years ago.

"I'm back." 

Shiro and Elsie stood outside the Pyramid wondering what to do when they got swarmed by Exo soldiers. Suddenly, Mazora appeared out of nowhere and threw down a Ball of Light, killing a handful of the Exos. 

Mazora unsheathed the Dawnblade and infused it with Light, making it stronger. He shoved it into the ground, causing cracks and lifting all the Exos into the air, he then shot out waves of Light, disintegrating the Exos.Mazora then sheathed the Dawnblade. 

"Mazora!" Shiro was shocked. 

"Shiro, Elsie, I'm glad you could help." Mazora replied, his voice sounding more confident. 

"Mazora, the City needs you. Clovis has invaded the City with an Exo army." 

"It's about time."
