Chapter 6

I rushed to the whitehouse where Tommy was. I needed to know if he was ok. Sapnap said he was going with George to find Karl and get more answers. I entered the white house and immediately saw Tommy on the sofa. He recognizes me and smirks. "Come to apologize." He says in a cocky tone.

"Oh my god, Tommy are you ok?" I ask ignoring his question.
"You are the last person I had figured would come. I didn't know you still cared about me." He says. I can tell he's being genuine.

"I'm serious Tommy are you ok?" I ask.

"Hey I heard your brother came to visit again." He says still not answering.

"TOMMY!" I finally yell.

"Glad you didn't go with him. My separation anxiety would've kicked in." He goes on. I was about to leave when I heard him go on. "Wait don't leave." He says desperate.

"Why aren't you answering?" I ask.

"I don't want you to leave after you know I'm ok." He finally admits. "Look i'm sorry for being so aggressive in telling you not to go." He finally apologizes. I had to laugh at his apology because I could tell he meant it but the way he phrased it cracked me up. "What?" he said, confused by my laughter.

"Nothing. Look i'm sorry for accusing you of having separation anxiety." I tell him. "Now are you ok? What happened?" I say.

"Im ok my shoulder was dislocated but I should heal soon." He says. Now that I know he's ok I'm quick to walk over and give him a hug. "I'd be very careful If I were you tho." He says.

"What why me?" I ask. What could I have done?

"It was your flowers that set him off. I was there when it happened. He got all pissy looking at the decorations and he seemed pretty heated in the moment. I guess he didn't like just how good of a condition lmanburg was in and the flowers seemed to add insult to injury." He explains. "Then when he asked where sapnap was and someone said with you he got even more frustrated that his best man was off somewhere with you. Your house definitely has tnt in it though so be careful." He warns.

"Tommy I have to go." I say. I felt bad because we had just reconnected but knowing this made things difficult. "I will come back to see you soon but I need to leave." I say. With that I leave to go find sapnap. It didn't take long before I found him though. He was sitting at the community house just waiting.

"Hey beautiful." He says.

"I guess my flowers somehow antagonized Dream." I say cutting to the point.

"I know, but dream never took it out on you. Im not excusing what he did but he wasn't the one to mess with your house." Sapnap tells me. How did he know about this? "Eret however, eret is dangerous. He basically admitted to bombing your home along with a few other structures." he continues.

"What do you mean why would he do this?" I ask.

"Eret felt his kingdom being threatened." Sapnap responds. "[y/n] we're on the foregrounds of a war. Anything anyone does right now could be detrimental. I need you to stay at my house until the tnt trap is disabled at yours." Sapnap says.

"Okay. I just, I don't understand." I tell him. "We were all literally partying together not 24 hours ago and now were on the brink of a war?" I say. I could feel myself getting anxious and I think sapnap could tell so he walked over and hugged me.

"I know. I don't understand it either. Fear and rage can be a dangerous motivator." He tells me. "Just know that no matter what you have me and I will always protect you." He says, pulling out of that hug.
