Chapter 44

   "Hey George." I say. I was slightly relieved to see him. I hadn't gotten to talk to George for a bit.

"What have you been up to?" George asks. I looked around to see he was alone.

"Not much. I just got back from a visit seeing Wilbur." I say.

"Oh? Nikki said she was worried about him." George says.

"Actually," I begin to say. After opening up to Wilbur I had realized how good it feels not to have to keep secrets from people. To not bottle things up. "I am too." I tell George. I told George about Wilbur and why I was worried. George listened to everything I said. He was invested in my words and it felt good to know I had someone to listen. George actually gave me some advice that helped me to feel better about Wilbur. After my conversation with George it was around 10. I decided to head over to Erets castle.

I made my way to the same room where I had met with Dream and Eret every time. When I got there I noticed a sign on the door that said I needed special clearance to get inside. I tried to open the door but a guard pulled me away. Before I could say anything the door opened and Eret realized what had happened. Eret told the guards off and I thanked him. When I got inside Eret told me Dream was supposed to arrive any minute now. I thanked him and took my usual seat. We talked about how nerve racking today was going to be. Something seemed off about Eret. He had a weird sense of confidence. Like he was hiding something. I didn't like it. A minute later I hear bickering outside of the door followed by Dreams voice. Before Eret can say anything I open the door to see Dream pinning a guard to the wall.

"Dream, cmon." I say before looking at the guards.

"This man has clearance to be here." I say. The guard puts his hands in the air. I almost felt bad for the guy he was just doing his job. Dream shoved his way inside and took his usual seat. I returned to my chair then looked at Eret. "Did you just, not tell your guards who actually has clearance to be here?" I say.

"I gave them brief descriptions but I emphasized more that they should be careful." Eret says. Something told me he had threatened his guards. I ignored that however. For the next two hours Eret, Dream, and I made preparations. We discussed potential war plans and our plan of action if Schlatt actually did decide to give up power. We decided that for now power should be given to Quackity. If Quackity was irresponsible Wilbur would become the new leader. After some recovery on Wilburs part that is. We decided we would meet up and head for Lmanburg around six. When lunch time came Eret left to go get some food from his cooks. As soon as Eret left Dream looked at me.

"Does something about Eret seem off to you?" He asks me. I was thankful I wasn't the only one who thought something was up.

"I was thinking the same thing. It feels like he's planning something and I don't like it." I say. Dream agreed with me. The door opens again and Eret enters holding a platter of sandwiches. Dream and I reluctantly at some. The next hour was spent discussing armor and weapons.

It was around 2 p.m. when I finally decided to leave. I found Tubbo in the library and asked if he would come with me. Tubbo wrapped up whatever he was studying and we decided to head to Skeppy and Badboy Halos manor. I wanted to ask if they would make sure Tubbo was safe while I dealt with Schlatt. Tubbo liked that idea since he got along well with Skeppy.

We reached their house after a long walk. Skeppy opened the door and looked happy to see visitors. "BAD!" Skeppy called. After a second Badboyhalo appeared in the doorway as well.

"Well hello!" He said.

"Hey bad!" I say pulling him in for a hug. I talked with Bad and Skeppy for a bit before they invited me inside. When I walked inside a third person came down the stairs.

"[y/n]?" I hear. I look up to see Captain Puffy. I immediately got up from my spot on the couch and ran to hug her.

"PUFFY!" I shout. I hadn't seen puffy since she visited last Christmas. Puffy was another parental figure in my life. When I was little she lived in the SMP and would visit Philza once a month. She was the person who I could go to when I needed help with things phil couldn't handle growing up. Puffy wraps me up in her arms.

"Look at you miss full netherite. You've grown so much." Puffy says, keeping me in a tight hug. It was hard not to break into tears in her arms. She made me feel safe.

"How long are you here for?" I ask pulling away.

"Actually I think I'm moving back." She says smiling. Then she notices Tubbo and pulls him into a hug as well. After a minute I see another person in the doorway at the top of the staircase. Puffy notices as well. "Well come on down then." She says. A brunette girl wearing a rose patterned dress starts to walk down the staircase. "So are your cousins." Puffy says.

"Hannah?" I say. Words could not explain how happy I was in that moment.

"Hi [y/n]." Hannah says. I was quick to hug Hannah as well.

Oh and Hannah and Foolish are twins.

"Does that mean?" I begin to say pulling out of the hug and looking at puffy. She nods.

"Foolish is busy visiting Karl. But he's coming as well." She says. I noticed Badboyhalo and Skeppy in the corner with ridiculous smiles plastered on their faces. Then I remember, shoot. I'm here for a reason.

"Puffy I want to catch up you have no clue but first I have to do something." I say. Puffy nods and begins a conversation with Tubbo. I pulled bad into the nearby office. I was about to open my mouth but got distracted by how lavish the office was. Jeeze how big is this mansion?

"You were saying?" Bad says snapping me back to reality.

"Sorry." I stammer. Bad smiles at me making me feel better. "Listen, I'm sure you know about whats going on in Lmanburg. Can you do me a huge favor and keep Tubbo safe? He can't be in Lmanburg right now. The guards all have strict instructions to kill him if he's seen near the country. I say.

"Oh my goodness! Of course!" Badboyhalo says. I thanked him and we left the office to see Puffy. Puffy patted the large couch on the spot next to her.

"I heard things are going well with Sapnap." She says giggling. My cheeks turned red.

"I would love to have girl talk believe me, but it might have to wait until after tonight." I say. Puffys face drops.

"Yeah I heard about that." She says.
