Chapter 30

Two chapters in one day pog

I slammed my axe into techno's shield. Thankfully I had him to teach me combat with weapons while Dream taught me combat with fists. My mind drifted to his words from the past few nights before. "You're just like me." No I wasn't. I wasn't anything like the green bastard. I finally snap back into reality when Techno blocks my attack.

"[y/n] what is wrong with you?" He finally pulls back and asks.

"What?" I ask. He tilts his head and looks at me questioningly.

"When in a fight you need to have your full presence. As in mind and body. Your mind isn't present, what is distracting you?" He asks. I finally give up. I could tell techno about it. He was the only person who could be honest with me and somehow not hurt my feelings.

"Am I like Dream?" I ask. Techno puts down his axe.
"Who said that?" He asks.

"Dream." I tell him. Techno chuckles.

"Yea I guess you are a bit like him. I always thought you were like me. Constantly questioning and taking in as much information as possible." Techno responds.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I mean, you do remind me of Dream in a lot of ways. Like you both try to figure people out and get a read on them. You're also both very emotional." He says.

"Emotional?" I ask still confused.

"Like when he lost it during the firework show, or when you almost attacked Schlatt." Techno explains.

"How am I like you?" I ask.

"Your smart. Your brain categorizes and processes information as fast as possible. You are aware of your surroundings without realizing it. Your actions are very calculated without realizing it. Even when you train you remind me of when I first started training with Philza." Techno says. I felt oddly touched by his words.

"Wouldn't that make you like Dream as well?" I ask. Again techno laughs.

"I'm nothing like Dream. C'mon back to training." He says. And with that we returned to axe combat. A few hours passed and the sun had fully fallen. I walked back to the house with Techno. Philza had a steak dinner prepared for everyone. I was pretty excited. I ran up to my room and got changed into clean clothes and headed down for dinner. When I headed down the energy in the room was off. I don't know how to explain it, but it was. Everyone was sitting at the table waiting for me. When I entered the room was silent. I looked at Techno hoping for an explanation.

"[y/n]. . ." Techno began to say.

"Sit down. I'll let Tubbo explain to you as well." Wilbur interrupts. I sat down next to Tommy. The boy's face was red with anger.

"[y/n] already knows." Tubbo says.

"I'm sorry what do I know?" I ask.
"Tommy and Wilbur are being hunted." Tubbo responds. He said the words casually as if they weren't news.

"No- you said they weren't allowed in L'manburg or they would be captured. You never said they were being... Hunted." the words tasted gross coming from my mouth.

"I have information Schlatt wants." Wilbur says.

"Will, he will kill you if he sees you." I say. Wilbur nods. "What does he need to know?" I say. Wilbur looks around. His eyes fall on tubbo who was innocently taking a bite of mashed potatoes.

"Come into the other room with me [y/n]. Just [y/n]." Wilbur answers. Wilbur and I go upstairs into his and Techno's room. Wilbur closes the door and then the blinds. "[y/n] I am about to give you some powerful information. Underneath Lmanburg is a weapons vault. Its massive and has millions of blocks of tnt. However its far enough underground that he would need my help to find it. He also needs to know the 3 passwords to get in." Wilbur says.

"Wilbur thats," I start to say.

"I'm telling you where they are so that if something happens to me, it isn't lost. The passwords are Tommy's birthday, the longitude and latitudinal coordinates of the camaravan, and the date we found you in the woods." Wilbur says. The date they found me in the woods was June 2nd. It was the day they had deemed my birthday. I felt weirdly honored that my birthday was so powerful.

"Wilbur this is. . . A lot." I say.

"I know [y/n], I know. But you're the only one I can trust. The vault is 200 meters below Philzas old home." Wilbur says.

"Will... I don't know what to say." I tell him. Wilbur pulls me into a hug.

"[y/n] thankyou." He says. I pull out of the hug and look at wilbur. It was the first time I saw the toll not being in Lmanburg was taking on him. He looked tired and hurt. Somehow he still had the same light he could always bring to the room.

"Wilbur are you okay?" I ask. Wilbur looks to the ground.

"No. If i'm being honest no. I feel lost." Wilbur admits.

"I'm so sorry." I say. I pull Wilbur back into a hug and he takes a deep breath.

"Thanks [y/n]." Wilbur says. We left the room and returned to the table. We continued the conversation and finished supper. Tubbo and I decided to head back tonight so we didn't have to get up early. I said my goodbyes and Tubbo and I left around 9.

Once Tubbo and I reached Lmanburg we listened to make sure no one was around and exited our tunnel. I had almost exited Lmanburg when fundy tapped on my shoulder.

"[y/n] what are you doing with armor on in lmanburg?" he asks.

"I'm not afraid of Schlatt." I tell him. Fundy looks around cautiously.

"I wish I could say the same." He says before turning around and walking away.

When I reached the border of Lmanburg I was surprised to see Sapnap. He saw me and ran to give me a hug. "Hey beautiful." He says still hugging me.

"You saw me this morning calm down." I say giggling.

"I know." He responds.

"Yea he is pretty clingy." Punz says from behind us.

"Hi punz!" I call. Sapnap wrapped his arms around my waist and picked me up.

"Hey [y/n]! I'll see you later Sapnap." Punz replies. Sapnap was giggling uncontrollably.

"Sapnap!" I say through laughter. He puts me down finally. "You're so clingy." I say. Sapnap rolls his eyes and leans over to kiss me.

"I didn't think you'd come back. I figured you would spend the night" He says with a shrug. I reach up to touch his cheek. He puts his hand over mine and kisses me again. "C'mon let's go home." He says smiling. We held hands and walked home.
