Chapter 12

It was the day of the dinner with Dream. I finished my conversation with Ranboo before heading over to the community house where it was supposed to be held. I had initially been super nervous but sapnap and ranboo both helped me calm down. When I reached the community house I saw techno leaning against the doorway of the community house. When he saw me he walked towards me. "I'm here to remind you, our loyalty needs to stay with phil and the others." I nodded.

"Techno?" I said.

"Hmm?" Techno answered.

"I'm scared." I tell him. I knew techno wasn't good with emotions, but i needed to tell someone who would also be here. I also knew that techno saw me as his little sister and I was one of the few people he would at least attempt to console. Techno made eye contact with me then got on one knee to meet my level.

"Listen, It's ok to be a little afraid, but you have to overcome this. I know who you are and you're strong. You need to show it. Don't let them see any weakness." He tells me. I nod. I knew I might throw him off a bit but I leaned forward and hugged him. He reluctantly hugged back before standing back up. "Ready?" He asks.

"Yes." I say, and enter the community house. Techno takes his seat next to phil and I spot Sapnap across the room sitting near Sapnap. He sees me and motions for me to sit in the spot he's saved for me. I take the seat he saved and smile at him.

"Hey." He whispers.

"Hi." I whisper back. I spot philza and we make eye contact. He smiles at me so i smile back and nod at him then return my focus to sapnap. "I hugged techno." I say. He chuckles.

"No way." He says.

"I also got a pep talk." I continue.

"How the hell did you pull that off?" Sapnap asks.

"Easy, I'm the baby of the family." I say.

"What, wouldn't Tommy be?" He asks.

"No he causes enough trouble plus he's one of the boys. I'm the only girl and I grew up with brothers who all took it as a responsibility to protect me so watch out." I tell him. He smiles and shakes his head softly.

"I still can't believe that you hugged him." He says.

"Me either." I respond.

I scan everyone at the table. There's Philza, Techno, Wilbur, Sapnap and I, Eret, Bad, Sam, and... Schlatt? How the hell did he get here? My thoughts are disrupted by Dreams entrance. Dream sits at the head of the table and orders for the dinner to begin. The dinner looked and tasted good. There was more food than the table could possibly eat. A few minutes in Dream stands up. "I think now is a good time for 2 things. For one I owe you an apology, and for two we need to discuss the future of the smp." He announces.

"Listen, during the night of the party, I in a fit of anger made some irrational decisions that I sincerely apologize for. If you feel you are owed reparations come and talk to me and I will see what I can do." Dream states. A bit weak of an apology if you ask me but ok. "Now, Wilbur. I have talked with you in private, but we need to talk about how lmanburg is being run currently as an independent country. Wilbur, tell me how you plan to run lmanburg." Wilbur stands as well. "Dream I've decided, we will rule our country as a democracy. We will hold an election and elect a leader." Wilbur announces. This didn't seem right. It was good that it would be a democracy but I worried power might end up in the wrong hands.

I feel myself start to speak up but get too nervous and close my mouth. Sapnap notices this and puts his hand on my leg. "Don't be nervous, you're here for a reason." He whispers.
