Chapter 35

A/N, I had wifi today so heres some chapters. I probably won't be able to upload again until either sunday or tuesday. 

Dream's eyes meet mine. "If I beat you in this fight, under no circumstances can you hurt Tubbo or Quackity if a war starts. They can be taken and put in a holding cell with nice conditions but you can't hurt them." I say.

"Hm. If I win, you stop whatever training you have been doing with Techno." Dream replies.

"Deal." I say. We shake hands and Dream grabs a sword. We both get a shield and walk to the center of the floor.

"On the count of three." I say. Dream counts down and I throw my axe. Dream barely has time to bring his shield up. Dream swings his sword but I block it with an axe. I take a step back and fake right step forward. Then I move to the left and swing my axe in the same direction. I use a technique techno taught me to angle my axe to hit his chest plate. Thankfully the weapons were way to dull to do anything but the force was still enough to knock dream down. Dream was on the floor. I went to put my foot on his chest to keep him from standing up but he rolled out from beneath me. Dream got to his feet again and I got back into stance. Dream steps to the side so I take the opportunity to move forward and swing my axe at his side. Dream blocks it with his Shield and swings his sword. I was quick to block his swing with my axe. I retract my axe and use yet another one of the famous Technoblade techniques. I faked a step forward and so that as a reaction Dream would put up his shield. He put his shield up and I stepped back then aimed for an area that wasn't covered by his shield. I swung and landed my hit on his side. Dream falls back. Dream loses his balance and I use my axe handle to knock him down.

I put my foot on Dreams chest to hold him down and hold the dull axe near his throat. "I yield!" Dream shouts.

"Dream. . . I can't believe she beat you." Sapnap says. I hold my hand out, Dream takes it and I help him up. Dream looked at me like I was a stranger.

"Do you even know how powerful you are?" He says. I was taken aback by his question and I thought his words were a little cliche so I laughed. Dream shook his head. "It isn't even funny. I don't even know how I'm supposed to train you anymore." Dream says.

"Spar practice?" I say.

"You don't fucking understand [y/n]!" Dream yells.

"No. I don't." I respond. Dream takes a deep breath.

"You played dumb." Dream says in a more calm tone.

"Dream I'm not as powerful as you think." I protest.

"Bullshit [y/n]. You would love for me to think that though. Wouldn't you?" Dream snaps.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I say.

"Stop playing fucking dumb! You are one of the most popular people in the smp. You could easily gain the loyalty of enough people to create a small army. You are the only person who has beat me in a hand to hand fight and other than techno the only person who's beat me in a duel like that. You're extremely smart and you have powerful people like techno on your side. You show some of the most prominent leadership skills I have ever seen, to the point where I would rather have you rule over Lmanburg than your brother. You're basically fearless and when you do have fear you don't let it hinder you, you let it fuel you. You're also very passionate. If you truly wanted you could kill schlatt in the next twenty minutes." Dream says. Then he sighs.

"I can't tell if you're mad or complimenting me." I say confused. Dream gave a light chuckle.

"I'm just frustrated. I might have just created a weapon of my own destruction. [y/n] every time I think I have you figured out you surprise me."

"Again, Dream I'm on your side." I say.

"Let's just hope that doesn't change." He responds. Dream turns around and storms out. I looked at Sapnap who seemed shocked.

"[y/n] were you really getting training from Techno and didn't tell me?" He says. His voice sounded hurt.

"Sapnap I-" I begin to say.

"[y/n], you've changed. You used to tell me everything. Now that you've become popular and powerful you have secrets from me?" He says.

"I didn't mean to. I wanted to tell you I was just worried for Wilbur and Tommy's safety... Have I really changed?" I ask. Sapnap puts his hand on my cheek.

"I don't know. It feels like it. What else aren't you telling me?" He asks. I felt guilty. He was right, I had no reason not to trust him. I also felt horrible thinking I had changed.

"A couple things. Let's go home and I'll tell you." I say.

"Promise me you will say everything?" he says. I nod and take Sapnaps hand. We left the base and we went to Sapnaps house. I told Sapnap I wanted to take a shower and then we could talk. After I'd taken a shower I changed into some leggings and one of Sapnaps hoodies. Then I sat on the couch with Sapnap and we shared a blanket.

"Okay, so I guess it's kinda hard to just outright tell you everything but basically when I go to my old home it's to visit my family. I got training from techno, which you know. I also have top secret information which I can't really elaborate on from wilbur. Oh and I sneak tubbo with me." I say.

"Wow. That's. . . a lot." Sapnap says.

"I know, it's a lot. I just need to know we're good." I respond.

"We are as long as you don't keep big unnecessary secrets from me. But, thankyou for telling me." Sapnap says. I nod and he leans forward and kisses me. I sighed and leaned into his arms. I let him hold me for a second. I felt better knowing he knew.

"Sapnap?" I say.

"Hm?" He responds.

"Please don't tell anyone. I know you won't if I ask you to but for Wilbur and Tommy's sake and I guess even my own, please don't tell anyone." I say.

"I won't Beautiful, I promise."
