Ranboo stood up and offered his hand to stand me up. I took it and giggled at how much taller he was than me. On our way to the base we saw wilbur and jack messing around with fireworks. We stopped and had a small conversation about a party being held in lmanburg on a friday in two weeks. Niki was baking sweets, eret and fundy were bringing party games, dream, george, karl, callahan, Bad, and possibly Sapnap were putting on some play, quackity was going to play some music. Philza even convinced techno to come, techno would bring potatoes and philza is going to make them into fries for everyone. Jack and Wilbur were putting together a fireworks show. The whole party sounded like a ton of fun so I told Wilbur I knew where a wildflower field was. I could pick some and decorate lmanburg with them. Ranboo said he wanted to help me and bring lanterns to decorate and light the place up.

Ranboo and I continued our journey to my house. "I'm so excited I can barely wait the two weeks." I tell him.

"I'm going to ask Tubbo if we can bake cookies for it. I'll have to talk to Nikki and make sure she is good with it and doesn't bake the same thing. I'm also pretty psyched to get to decorate lmanburg. Do you want help picking flowers?" Ranboo says excitedly.

"I think i'm gonna force Sapnap to do it with me." I tell him. He nods and we keep walking.

"I know Quackity is playing music but we should convince Tommy to play one of his discs." Ranboo says.

"I'm not sure if he would he's gotten pretty protective over them." I say.

"Are you sure it's not cause you're avoiding him." Shit. Ranboo knew me too well. Tommy and I were tight. Not as close as I was too Sapnap or Ranboo, but we were close. I had gotten into an argument with him over going to see my family or not. He came to my house just to tell me I couldn't go. I already planned on turning my brother down but Tommy just commanded me to stay. It made me mad that he thought he had the right to control me. We got into a fight and the fight turned bigger when we both started arguing over issues we'd bottled up with each other. He still hasn't apologized. To be fair I did basically accuse him of having separation anxiety over Tubbo and Wilbur. But if he apologized for what he said about not allowing me to go I'd apologize for blowing up.

"It's ok you have every right too." Ranboo says. "If you two make up though it would be fun for Me you and tubbo to have our own little party sometime." he continues.

"That sounds like a fun idea. I'm sure we will make up at some point but for now we're both holding a grudge." I admit.

We made it to my house and got the dye. Ranboo and I finished his map and hung out until 12 when we made our way back to lmanburg and parted ways to go find Sapnap. I reached party island where I saw an unusually human shaped shadow stemming from the shadow behind the tree. I smiled to myself knowing he was here.

Sapnap pov

I was behind the tree trying not to laugh. I heard [y/n] get close, it's my time to scare her. I waited for her to come out in front of me until a pair of hands reached out and grabbed my torso and she yelled. I jumped from the scare and she started laughing. "HEY." I protest. It was useless though she was laughing too hard. I shook my head and tapped my foot while she absolutely lost it.

"You- You really thought." She says a giggling mess.

"If it's the last thing I do I will get you." I say. That however made her laugh harder and I couldn't help but smile. Seeing her laugh and be happy was so refreshing. I put my hand on her shoulder to try and settle her down. She took a deep breath and gave me an endearing look. Right before losing it again.

"I- IM SORRY." She tries to say. I wrap my arms around her waist and through her over my shoulder.

"I'll calm you down myself." I say and start to swing around. Her laughter continues.
"How is this calming?" She gets out. Then I started to giggle as well. I want this moment right here to last forever. Holding [y/n], well sort of, laughing and smiling, pure bliss.

Finally we calm down and I hand her a picnic basket full of food. We go and sit on the bench and get out our meal.

"We should stargaze tonight Ranboo thinks with the weather they'll be pretty tonight." [y/n] says. It takes all my strength not to say something along the lines of "Not is pretty as you" or "I'd rather just look at you."

"It will be easier to scare you if it's dark outside." I say

"Uh- huh. You've really proven just how easy it is for you to scare me." [y/n] retorts. I roll my eyes and respond.

"Someone needs to keep you in check you're way too sassy."

"You of all people don't get to complain about me being sassy."

"I don't care."

"Ha, ok. What are you gonna do about it." [y/n] says a bit too boldly. For a second I thought about shooting my shot, about just kissing her. But I didn't want to scare her and I didn't know if she'd be ok with it.

"You'll see." I respond. She smiles and takes a bite of her sandwich. I risked stealing a glance at her and admired her. Her brown eyes, the freckles sprinkled around her face, her soft pink lips, and her long light-brown hair. She caught me looking and I turned red quickly looking away. She chuckled. I pull out a cookie and eat some of it. I offer her a bite and she leans over and takes a bite. I chuckle and finish it. After a while I get up to go clean up the basket. She helps then sits back down in the grass in front of the tree. I sat down next to her.

"There's a big party coming up." She says.

"I know Karl is trying to convince me to be in his play. In all honesty I get stage fright I don't think I can." I tell her.

"Don't do it, you spend too much time with your boyfriend as it is." She jokes.

"Aww is someone jealous of my boyfriend." I say.

"Yea." She responds and smiles at the ground. I knew she would say yes but i thought she'd say it sarcastically. This sounded genuine. It didn't matter though I had to act like she said it sarcastically.

"Hey I offered to get flowers to decorate for the party. It won't be for a while but can you want to help me get flowers?" [y/n] asked.

"Of course." I respond.

"Okay that sounds good." she says. She leans over and puts her head on my shoulder. I scoot in closer and we stay like this talking peacefully for almost an hour.
