Lauren's POV

South Korea is indeed a beautiful country. Everywhere you turn your head is just so aesthetic. From the view down to the food you eat.

Everything's great.

Betty and I sat down on the bench outside the shop we just went in. We're currently in Myeongdong and they say, when you visit this country you shouldn't miss this place. For whatever their reasons are, I do get it now.

Although I'm not really the type of person who enjoys crowded places but I guess we all need this kind of time once in our lives. Besides, we're on the trip...might as well enjoy everything.

"I'm not sure if I can buy something for my family. Everywhere I laid my eyes on, I see things only for me." Betty scoffed. She didn't brought too much stuff because she wants to buy a lot of things here which what she's doing ever since we arrived.

"How come this place is so packed but still beautiful?" I asked her.

"We're in South Korea." What would I expect right?

I was circling my left foot when Betty stood up. The look on her eyes only means one thing. "I'm hungry." And so I am.

I hold onto her hand and started walking again to look for a restau. After of almost an hour of searching and bickering of which cuisine we should try, we ended up inside a chinese restaurant.

As I pictured, Betty ordered the opposite. Her plate is full of green while mine is full of meat. Unhealthy it is, but I don't really eat veggies except potato.

That's why I know it would be really hard if ever I decided to live here. Lmao, kidding aside. Who am I joking? That shit never happens to someone like me. Even if I work my ass out I know it's not enough.

It's only for rich.

"We only have three days left." She started as she shove the leaves inside her mouth. "Where do you wanna go?" I paused thinking for an answer.

"I really want to see Busan tho." I don't know much of that place but I know some of my biases were born there.

Betty once told me I should marry a Busan boy because most of my biases...I, later found out were from there. Weird coincidences.

"The famous Daniel Kang's place." She muttered which is right. Daniel is one of my ultimate bias.

"You up?" Betty shrugged her shoulders in agreement. I want to visit Busan not only because of my K-pop boys. I am personally attached to that place without knowing the reason why.

"Should I get a tattoo here?" That made her look at me with her alarmed eyes. "You promised no ink until twenty." Bitch I'm 19! One year is a long wait!

But alright, she won.

My parents are up for it tho but Betty isn't. I'm not raised with a tiger parents. They support what I like and will help me when they can.

I want a night hangout? 15 or now, they will let me as long as I inform them. They let me choose the course I want and would support me. Boyfriend? They're up but it's only my choice not to get one annnnnd no one's really interested so I'm fine.

Though I am being raise this way, they never forget to teach me about life. Of course! The manners, the behavior, there are things that I learned outside that are not allowed inside our home.

For them, the more they get strict to us the higher the chances of us being rebellious. It's about trust. They give me, I give them.

The only thing I find hard sometimes is when they won't let me wear whatever I want. I am not used exposing too much of my skin too. A pair of cargo pants and a crop top is still too much for them which is completely understandable at some point because the society we're living is not as respectful as others. But when I'm home, I could go around with anything wrapped in my body.
