Sorry for the delay and also soz for the confusion of the last chapter I was on strong pain meds so obviously decided that was the perfect time to write

Alex's vision was blurry. She could hardly make out Sarah and Topper tucking her into a guest bedroom at Tannyhill. She tried to get up, telling them to stop, telling them that she needed to go see her friends but Sarah wouldn't listen.
"Alexis listen to me, JJ isn't your friend, he drugged you. I know it must be confusing right now but I need you to sleep okay?"
Alexis tried to get up, to tell Sarah that it wasn't JJ, it was Rafe, but her body wasn't listening to her. All that came out were mumbles.
The door shut behind them.
After what must have been hours, the girls body started responding.
She pulled herself out of the bed and headed out the door, shutting it behind her. Just as she reached the bottom of the stairs, Alex saw Rafe skirting into her room.
Gently closing the window behind her, she stumbled into the darkness, making her way to the one person who made her feel safe.
Alex let herself into the Maybank house. It was well past midnight, but JJ's dad seemed to be out.
She knocked on the boys door softly, and was met with a puffy eyed JJ.
"JJ?"
He stood staring at her for a moment before pulling her into his chest, "I swear, it wasn't me, I wouldn't- it wasn't-"
Not being able to help herself, Alexis burst into tears.
"It was Rafe, he just- everything's going wrong, I feel, I feel- I can't feel anything anymore. I don't know what's wrong with me. Everything's just- everything's too much, I can't- I can't-"
Her words became mumbles as she burried her face in the boys t-shirt.
"Shh, it's okay Lex, I'm here okay?"
He shut his bedroom door and climbed into his bed, pulling her in next to him.
"Just sleep, we can talk about this in the morning."
