[Shane's POV]
My fantasies are coming true once again. Joey's head on my chest while I play with his hair as he's gently napping to the rhythm of my breath. I was starring into space, enjoying Joey's company when he shifted and looked at me with his beautiful eyes.
Joey: Good morning baby.
Shane: Good morning Joeybear.
Joey: Should we get some nom noms?
I laughed at him.
Joey: What's so funny?
Shane: You're so cute when you use words like that.
He blushed. That's another thing I love about Joey.
Joey: Why thank you.
Shane: Alright, let's get some "nom noms".
Joey: I've corrupted you.
He kissed me, grabbed my hand and we went to McDonalds for breakfast.
*I hope you remember graduation* ;)
(3 years later)
It's time. I'm gonna do it this time. Joey and I have been in college for 3 years and I think he and I are ready. I want to do it in a special place. Out to dinner. With friends.
Shane: Happy 3 years baby.
I gave him flowers with a card that said.
"I love you forever and ever Joey. You're my sunshine, my only sunshine. ~Shane
Joey: Awe! Thanks Shaney! I love you so much.
Shane: I love you too.
He gave me a quick peck.
Joey: I got you something too.
Shane: You did?
He pulled out a box. Did he have the same idea?
Joey: Open it!
I opened the box to find a locket, thank god. I opened the heart and inside had a picture of Joey and I kissing. On the back it said "Joey and Shane Forever".
Shane: It's beautiful Joey. Just like you.
Joey: Awe thank you! So, are we doing anything special tonight?
Shane: Yes actually, I made reservations at a restaurant. I invited Connor, Lisa, Meghan, Sawyer, and this new girl I met Trisha.
Joey: Sounds fun!
Shane: Sweet! Dinner is at 7:30 ok?
Joey: Ok!
[Joey's POV]
Shane is literally the best boyfriend ever. Need I say more
Connor: Over here guys!
We walk over to them, hand in hand.
Lisa: I'm so happy for you two! You're too cute together!
Joey: Thanks girl!
[Shane's POV]
Connor: Psst, Shane.
Shane: Yeah?
Connor: When are you gonna do it?
Shane: Right now.
I tapped my glass with my spoon.
Shane: Excuse me everyone. I'd like to say something.
Out table looked at me. And some people from other tables too.
Shane: As you know. I've been with the best man ever, Joey, for over 3 years now. And I love him with all my heart.
I heard some "awwws" and I heard some people start to record, obviously they know what was gonna happen.
Shane: And I think we're ready to start a new chapter in our life.
Everyone at our table had a phone out recording.
Shane: Joey?
Joey: What's going on here?
I got onto one knee and took his hand.
Shane: Joey, I love you so much.
Joey: Oh Shane. I love you too.
Shane: Before I say this. I wrote a little quote for you. "Every moment of everyday is better than the one before. You keep me from falling when I don't even think I can stand. When we're together, nothing can break us. When we're apart, the world just feels smaller. It's time to show you how much I love you, someone I truly cherish."
Shane: Joey... Will you marry me?
