[Joey's POV]
Joey: Shane?!
Shane's Dad: So, this is the fag you're marrying?
Joey: Who are you?
Shane's Dad: I'm Shane's dad, your worst nightmare.
Lisa grabbed my hand, I could tell she was just as scared as I was.
Joey: What are you going to do to him?
Shane's Dad: Teach him a lesson. Fags like him don't deserve to live.
He spit in his face. Shane cringed. I got extremely angry. My hands formed tight fists.
Shane's Dad: What are you gonna do "tough guy"? You have no idea what your dealing with asshole.
I ran towards him and he pointed the gun and Shane. I stopped in my tracks.
Shane's Dad: TOUCH ME OR SHANE AND I SHOOT YOU, AND SHANE!!
All I could do is stand there. I motioned Lisa to come closer to me.
Joey: Go call the cops.
I whispered in her ear. She agreed and ran off.
Shane's Dad: What did you tell her?!
Joey: Nothing.
Shane's Dad: TELL ME OR I'LL KILL YOU!
Shane yelled something through the gag, but I could make it out, he said
Shane: Joey! The fire extinguisher! Hit him!
Shane's Dad: Shut up!
He slapped him.
Joey: DON'T TOUCH HIM!!
He slammed me against the wall and had his hand on my neck.
Shane's Dad: Unless you want to live, you better shut your fucking mouth "pretty boy", understand.
I nodded. He walked back to Shane and punched him in the stomach. As he had his back to me, I grabbed the extinguisher off of the wall and hit his dad with it.
Shane's Dad: You're gonna die.
He pointed the gun at me, but before he could shoot, the cops ran in.
Police: SIR! SET THE GUN DOWN!
Shane's Dad: MAKE ME!
He shot Shane in the leg.
Shane: MMMMMMMM!!!!
Joey: SHANE!!!
I ran over to him and removed the gag.
Joey: Shane?! Are you ok?!
Shane: Well, it does hurt a little.
I laughed and so did he.
Police: Medic! Over here.
A medic came over and wrapped Shane's leg.
Medic: He'll be fine. Not that bad of a wound. He'll be able to walk right away.
Joey: Thank you so much.
Police: Come with me you worthless piece of trash. You're under arrest.
They walked out with him in handcuffs. We heard Shane's dad tell something as they took him away.
Shane's Dad: THIS ISN'T THE LAST YOU SEE OF ME FAGGOTS!!
Joey: Thank you so much for calling the police Lisa.
Lisa: No problem! Nothing is going to ruin this wedding.
Shane linked my arm with his.
Shane: Shall we get married?
Joey: Yes we shall.
