AN: So here we are. It is the end of the little Reyes-Gillespie family in Vancouver. In this chapter, there are hints of more casual physical affection between Madison and Charlie. Also Owen feeling a sense of relief as filming is over. And everyone is ready to wind down. But the adventure is not over. This is only the end of Part 1. Part 2 will see Madison and Charlie in New Brunswick (and a few other places in Canada) and Allentown, PA with their families.

--------------------------

Madison organized to meet Charlie at the venue. She walked in with her father behind her. "Wow. You really did well on combining Owen's birthday party with the wrap party, Mad," Ricardo complimented.

Madison beamed at the near 45 year old. "Thanks. Took a bit of arguing with the suppliers to get the decorations but it worked out just in time."

Ricardo shook his head. "You probably scared those poor people to death." Madison couldn't deny it. She could be forceful when she wanted to be. Kenny didn't call her a dangerous Puerto Rican woman for nothing. "Let me get your coat so I can put it up. Go find the others."

Madison kissed Ricardo's cheek and went in search of her boys. Ghost had gone with Charlie and the boys. The dog didn't have a lot of patience when he was excited. It was very much like Charlie.

She spotted the dog going in circles around his father. "Ghost calm down. Mommy will be here soon." Ghost barked at Charlie. "You know Mommy likes to be fashionably late."

"Is it a crime to want to make sure I look good," Madison said from behind Charlie. Ghost whipped around and got on his hind legs for a hug. "Aw. I love you, too. You look so cute in your little dress shirt." Ghost yapped happily.

Madison looked up from Ghost to see Charlie staring at her. "You look damn good in that dress." Madison blushed at Charlie's appreciating eyes looking her up and down. She always felt so powerful when she could radiate a mature and controlled appearance. She had spent a little more than usual to get a nice silk cocktail dress in navy with cherries on it. It had spaghetti straps, went just beyond her rear, and fit like a glove. She paired it with some cherry drop earrings, and red kitten heels.

"You don't look too shabby either," Madison commented, biting her lip as she took in his outfit. Charlie was wearing a copper red short sleeved shirt that showed off his shoulders and arms, a pair of sinful black leather pants, and some boots.

Charlie smirked. "My eyes are up here." Madison shook her head as she saw him with his tongue tucked into his cheek.

"Friends can appreciate each other's outfits," Madison countered. Charlie smiled.

"You got Owen's present so we can slip it in the stash," Charlie asked, changing the mood.

Madison snapped her fingers. "Crap! I left it in the car. Let's get it now while Owen is preoccupied." Madison and Charlie looked over a few feet away where Owen, Jeremy, Savannah, and Carolynn were in an in depth conversation.

"Ghost. Keep Owen from the door okay," Charlie instructed to the Jack Russell Terrier.

Ghost barked and trotted over to Owen and sat at the blond's side, watching him like a hawk.

As Madison and Charlie made their way to the front door of the club, two people they weren't expecting came through the door. "Scott! Mitch! What are you guys doing here," Madison asked in shock.

Mitch walked forward and hugged her and kissed her cheek. "You didn't think we would miss this? We helped out with the season, too."

Scott hugged Charlie and bent down to bring Madison into one. "Yeah Kenny invited us up for this. Besides a little birdie told us that you set up a surprise birthday party for Owen. We wanted to congratulate our baby gay."
