I just looked at Kenna in disbelief. Would I have to move so soon? I just got to town. I couldn't panic. Panicking is for the weak. I couldn't be weak in this town. Being weak meant it was easier to spot me.  The rest of the class passed in a blur. I was trying to figure out how she knew who I was. Maybe she was like me as well.

As the bell rang I was the first one out of the door. Well second one out. I bumped right into Caleb. "Watch where you're going...." He trailed off as he turned around and saw me. "Don't think I've seen you around sweetheart." I roll my eyes. Instantly I ruled him as one of the many assholes that dominated our populations today.

"Yes I'm new. The name's Alison." I walk right past him to my locker. He followed me. "Well, I just wanted to say hi. I'm Caleb." I laugh a bit. "I know who you are." He smirks at me. He gave one of those smirks that added to my conclusion about him being an ass. "Kenna told you didn't she?" I nod. "Gave me the 4-1-1 on people in this school."

He laughed. His laugh was a shy laugh. Shy but sweet. Almost like it belonged in a summer romance movie. Maybe I was wrong about him. I tried to get a read on him. When I did I saw that I was wrong. He only acted this way to fit in at school.

"What's so funny?"

"Just my cousin giving you the lay down of who to talk to." I raise an eyebrow. "Cousin?" He shrugs. "She's my mom's, sister's daughter." I guess that made sense.

"Alright then." I close my locker and start walking away to go home. "Wait up!" Kenna intercepts us. "Caleb, are you hitting on the new girl?" Caleb rolls his eyes. "No Kenna. Just saying hi." He leaves us alone. I turn to Kenna. She smiles at me. "Looks like I got here in time." At this point I needed to get home and pack up to leave. So I start walking away.

"Alison, where are you going?" I stop and turn to face her. "You said you know who I am. How?!"

Kenna sighs. "Because I'm a witch too. One of my powers is being able to identify other witches," She paused for a moment. "Ariralana." She whispered to me.

I start walking away. Now I really had to move. Someone already knew who I am. My plan already failed. Damn the perky people of the world. Damn the fact that I didn't want to be rude.

So I drive home. My car wasn't that fancy. All it was is a 1967 black Chevrolet Impala. The only change I've made to it since '67 is adding an iPod outlet.

Some people liked the newer fancy cars. Personally, I prefer the classics.

When I got to my house I did my homework out of habit from the past. Old habits from trying to fit in never died for me. The house was just a small thing I found in the woods. I didn't have any real furniture. Just the stuff that was here. The only things I moved in were my clothes and my Wi-Fi box.

After I finished my homework I started repacking. Kenna knew about me so it was to dangerous to stay. As I was packing I heard someone come in. So I grabbed my gun and started to go to the main room. There was a man standing there. "Hello Ariralana." That voice. Could it be? He turns around and smiles. I lower my gun.

"Hello father.
