*Caleb*

Ali hasn't been to school in a week now. Where is she? I miss seeing her face. Those blue eyes. They were an unnatural blue but the prettiest blue I have ever seen. Then there was her hair. The beautiful blonde curls that looked so soft. Her lips finished off her beauty. They were such a light pink that she didn't even need lip gloss on them. They were so soft I wanted to kiss them.

So on the seventh day I didn't see her I went to find Kenna. The minuet she saw me she started running. "Kenna wait!" I had to sprint to catch up to her. Not that I was slow, but I was a hunter so I was used to running fast.

When Kenna turned she had a cold look in her eyes. "What Caleb?"

"Have you heard from Ali? She has been missing for seven days now."

"Caleb, didn't you hear? She got violently ill. Her brother wouldn't let me in to see her because she was so sick." When I heard about the brother I raised an eyebrow. "Ali never mentioned a brother."

"He just got to town or something." I saw her eye roll and knew she was annoyed. "Caleb, you also need to know something."

"What? Is it about Ali?"

Then Kenna lets out a soft sigh and looks at me sad. "She got into a car accident a few days ago."

What?! No! Was she even alive? The angel I had just met last week dead? No. I wouldn't believe it. "Is she alive?" When Kenna didn't respond I started freaking out. "KENNA! IS SHE ALIVE!"

"Yes she is Caleb." When I hear she is alive I run to my locker and grab my school bag. I had to see her with my own eyes.

"Caleb! You can't go see her. She doesn't want to see you and even if she did want to her brother wouldn't let people see her."

Rage filled me. She didn't want to see me? More so, her brother wouldn't let me see her.  "How do you know she is alive then?"

"I've seen her. She had to fight her brother to let me in to see her."

At this point I didn't care. I was going to see her. No matter what. Nothing, not even an over protective brother, is going to stop me.

"Caleb, don't go. She isn't worth it."

"How can you say that Kenna? She is your friend." Kenna couldn't stop me. She might be my cousin but she didn't grow up hunting like I did.

Before she could protest I got on my motorcycle and rode off. I had to see her myself.

One day I would make her mine.
