Dumbeldore's Army

I just signed my life away, quite literally. It was a snowy Hogesmade Saturday as we gathered at the Hog's Head listening to Hermione, Harry and Ron planning on starting a group.

We weren't learning real defense and they wanted to change that. Harry had some experience and claimed it was luck. I think he's smarter than he gives himself credit for.

Our first task was to find members and a secluded place to practice. I thought about the room, the one I sneak away to drink in sometimes. It would work, but wasn't equipped for defense lessons.

BANG.

"Shit." I say out loud.

"Ms. Sparks, twenty points from Gryffindor. Watch your language." Snape says to me.

I was having trouble focusing on my potion today. Draco was partnered with me and I'd hold my breath and sneak peaks at him. His grey steely eyes concentrationg on his knife as he'd cut things. The way his hand would wrap around his quill. God, I wanted to be that quill.

I apologize to snape and focus my attention back to Draco. He begins talking to me but I don't hear him. I'm busy drinking in his apperance. It seemed every time I'd see him he'd get more handsome.

"Sparks. You going to add the Flabberworm?" Draco asks me.

I shake my head coming back to reality.

"Huh? Oh, yeah." I reply as I add the worm Draco told me to put in.

"Where is your head today?" Draco asks me.

'Not on your dick, unfortunately.' I think to myself.

"I don't know." I say out loud as Draco smirks.

"Try to focus." he tells me.

I nod and watch as he writes down some notes and tells me to hand him some flaxseed.

His large hands gently caress mine as he takes it putting it in the cauldren. His large veiny hands. He could put them around my neck and-

"Sparks." Draco calls my attention as he comes closer to me. He looks around to make sure sees nobody is paying attention to us in the back of the room.

"Focus on the potion, before I fuck you so hard you won't have energy to." he whispers to me.

My face flushes immediately. I nod and write down some notes of my own biting my lip as I concentrate on what I'm writing. If I don't look at him it takes the temptation away.

"Good girl." He whispers to me. I glance over and he smirks at me. Fuck.

"Let's gather some people and have some drinks. It's been so long." Ginny whines to our group of friends.

We were sitting in the Great Hall as we'd gotten here early. It was dinner time and as you may know, Gryffindors can throw the best parties.

"I'll invite Pansy." Ron says as he thinks of whom else to  invite. The pair had been together since last year and were doing well from what I knew.

Ginny had been single and ready to meet someone new. WE all agree we needed a break and look around of who to invite. Ginny walks over to Luna and invites her and some of thier friends.

I turn my attention to the entrance of the Great Hall and see George walking in with Fred.  I hadn't told him of what happened with Draco. I didn't want to cause him any worry.

He walks in and sits next to me kissing my cheek. I grin up at him and ruffle his hair as he grins back at me.

"Whatcha, doing?" he asks me as he takes my hand in his to play with.

"We're thinking of having a party.. anyone you want to invite?" I ask him.

"Mmmm... you'll be there... I'll be there..." he says.

I laugh. "Besides us, silly."

"Could invite some Hufflepuffs? I hear they have that muggle stuff." He tells me.

I nod and look for anyone I may know. I see Susan Bones and walk over to her table. We barely knew each other but maybe we could get to know one another.

"Hi, Susan."  I greet while smiling.

"Sparks. What's up?" she asks, curiously.

"Some of us were thinking of gettng together, tonight. I'd like if you and your friends could join us." I whisper as to not alert the teachers.

She looks to her friends and they nod.

"Count us in."

"Perfect."

The drinks were flowing and we were all having a really good time. I was standing with Ginny looking around trying to find her a new partner and she shot down all of my suggestions.

"If you want Luna back why not ask her? I suggest.

"Because, if I did want her back, which I do not. I would ask her. I think the person I like may be seeing someone." she tells me.

I raise my eyebrow and nudge her."Do Iknow them?"

"Of course." she tells me smiling.

I spy Hermione with Neville and they seem to be having an arguement. She stomps her foot and turns and walk away. Ron chases after her and I shake my head.

Pansy had turned down the invitation to come because she had homework or something. Harry was making his way through the crowd getting ideas on who to invite to the DA.

Gimny spots Luna and decides to ask her to dance. Luna grins and leads her to the dance floor as Ginny whispers in her ear, causing Luna to smile.

I decide to search for George and don't see him, anywhere. I figured he'd gone up to his room so I walk up and instantly wished I hadn't opened the door.
