"Tell me you're kidding." Draco sighs.

"No, really. Think about it. It's beautiful, green, and lush."I tell him.

When we'd gotten back to his room somehow our conversation made it's way to where we'd have our wedding.

"It's so cold there." He coos in my ear.

"Okay, you baby. Where were you thinking?" I ask him.

"I was thinking more like Rome, Morocco, anywhere but Canada." Draco tells me sticking his nose in the air.

We went on like this for awhile before letting sleep consume us. I coulnd't sleep alone anymore. I loved him more than anything.

The holidays were here and neither Draco or I wanted to return to the Manor. He'd been in a bad mood lately knowing what was awaiting us. I tried my best to cheer him up but he wasn't up for it. So I'd sit with him while he sulked.

When we arrive at the Manor it was surprisingly empty. Only our parents were present. Draco grins at me and drags me to sit with our parents.

"I'm happy it's just us here. WE have happy news to share." Draco says beaming at me.

He wasn't going to seriously do it was he? My dad is right there.

"What is it love?" Narcissa asks.

"I asked Amber for her hand in marriage. It was sudden but she's agreed. I need to find her a ring." Draco tells our parents.

My face was redder than the Gryffindor color. Narcissa screamed jumping out of her seat to hug Draco. Lucius gives his son a curt nod and a smirk.  I look at the floor and my mom hugs me. When I return the hug I notice she'd gotten thinner. This war was tearing her apart. She was a true Hufflepuff.

"Honey, are you okay with this?" my dad asks me.

I hadn't really seen them to discuss it.

"Yes, Daddy. I love him. More than anything or anyone." I tell my father. He nods and extends his hand to Draco.

"Please take care of her." my dad ask while looking him in the eyes. Understanding what he was asking Draco to do, Draco nods.

"Draco, let's get this girl a ring." Narcissa tells him dragging him off somwhere.

"Amber, welcome to our family." Lucius says extending his hand to me.

I shake it not wanting to raise any issues and take a seat with my parents.

When we get back to school I felt that my ring was forcing people to look at it. Some of my fellow Gryffindors shot me death glares as the glint from the ring caught the sun the right way.

It was a simple ring. Silver, with a circular diamond on it. It was his grandmothers on his father's side.

"Look at that rock," Theo says grabbing my left hand. I blush and look at Draco as he pushes Theo away.

"Hands off my woman, mate." Draco says to him, throwing me a wink.

Ginny smiles at me,"As long as you're happy."

I nod. Draco's been the one constant for me. He had shown me the sides he hadn't shown anyone.

Snape's question pops in my head again. Now without a doubt it would be Draco.

Pansy gives me a hug and wishes me the best. The train ride was too quick knowing it was our last.

Harry's been spotted in Hogesmade. This was it. My arm burned as he called us to his side.

"Tonight, he will be DEAD" Voldemort yells as the crowd cheers.

I really hoped our plan would work. Draco gives my hand a squeeze and kisses my ring. Love. Together. I focused on those words as we headed towards Hogwarts.

It was a mess. Bodies littered the floor, a fog lingered from the spells being thrown about, and I had gotten seperated from Draco. I attacked to kill hiding in the shadows as best as I could. I worried for him.

I run into Regulus and Sirius who are dueling a Death Eater together. I shoot the killing curse at the Death Eater and the brothers smile at me. I run off in search of Draco and run into Hermione.

"It's gone. The only thing left is Nagini." Hermione tells me holding on to Ron's hand.

My mark started to burn again and I frown before I get summoned back into the Forbidden Forest. I can't see Draco anywhere and I start shaking. Narcissa finds me and holds my hand.

"He'll come." Voldemort says.

It seemed like hours. We waited there silently waiting for Harry to approach. Harry walked towards us with confidence and his head held high.

"AVADA KEDAVRA" and he was limp. He layed there as I tried to hide the tears that threatened to spill. My friend layed there. Draco was nowhere to be found and I was begining to doubt it all. I haven't seen my parents and could only hope they were safe.

Voldemort leads us back to the castle with Hagrid carrying Harry. I see Draco standing on the other side and hear him in my head.

You need to stay there until the momemnt is right.

I nod and Voldemort shouts, "HARRY POTTER IS DEAD." 

A sob broke out from one of my friends. Harry. The boy who gave his life for others. The boy who was raised like a pig for slaughter.

Suddenly, Snape appears in the back of the crowd. Harry jumps from Hagrids arms and things are messy again. I run straight to Draco as neville swings the sword almost taking me out in the process of killing Nagini.

With a crack Dumbledore appears.

Everyone stops and watches him walk to Voldemort.

"You'd made a grave mistake coming to my school, Tom." he says.

"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD." He shouts.

"How very right you are. I figured I could take you with me." Dumbledore smiles at him.

Suddenly everyone resumes fighting. In the Great Hall I watch Bellatrix get shrunken down and quite literally evaporate. I was about to run when Fenir Greyback pulls me closer to him away from Draco.

"You filthy, traitor." he whispers in my ear as he shoves me to the ground holding my hair. Just as he was about to attack I see another death eater with their wand to Draco's throat.

"NO!" I shout.

"I love you, Amber Sparks."

That was it. Everything was black.
