After the schools were announced our DADA teacher showed up. He drank from his flask and his eye moved wildly. It landed on Harry I thought but nobody thought anything of it. He joined our teachers at the Head table and watched the students.

We were told to retire for the evening and I told the twins I'd catch up. They shrugged and headed up to the room without question which thankful for. I ran to find Draco. Something just seemed off about him staring.

I finally grabbed his arms and he waved to his friends saying he'd catch up.

"Sparks, everything okay?" he looked at me worriedly.

"I want to know why you were staring at me." I ask.

"When?" he replied.

"When the other schools came in, of course. You could have looked at them but your eyes didn't leave me." I stated.

"Which means your eyes didn't leave me." He replied.

"How could I look away when you just kept looking at me?" I asked.

"I told you already, your the one for me. I don't need to waste time looking elsewhere. Even if I did, at the end of the day it will be you." Draco told me.

"That's what scares me." I say.

He sighs and runs his hands through his hair. He looks around and pulls me to the side behind a statue.

"You can do whatever you please until our wedding, as can I." Draco tells me.

"Do your friends know you are supposed to marry me? Is that why we're hiding right now?" I wondered.

"they know. I didn't know if you're friends do. I don't want to put you in an awkward spot." He admits.

Draco seemed to truely care for me. My heart skipped a beat as he put his hand on my cheek. I looked up into his eyes and saw something. I couldn't tell you to this day what that look was.

"Thank you." I whisper not daring to move.

He kisses my forehead and lets me go.

"Go to bed. Get some rest and I'll see you tomorrow, Amber." he says.

I nodded bidding my farewell and rushed off to my tower. What just happened? Why had I been excited? It was the first time Draco made me feel this way. He made me feel special. I got in to find the common room empty so I snuck into my room. Hermione and Ginny were still awake gossiping.

"Did you see the boys? They were so handsome!" Hermione gushed.

"Yeah, but did you see the girls? They're like, perfect." Ginny replied.

"I wonder who their champion will be." I say taking a seat next to Ginny.

"Krum has to be the Durmstrang. It's fate." Ginny said. Hermione and I nodded and agreed.

"I don't know anything about Beauxbatons to say who their champion would be." Hermione states.

We shrug.

"I wonder who the Hogwarts champion will be." I say.

"Diggory wants to enter. I heard him telling his friends." Ginny says.

"I hope they all stay safe. I have a bad feeling." I tell them.

"I don't actually think the ministry would allow anything bad to happen." Ginny says.

"Let's hope not." Hermione adds.

"So, where did you run off to after the feast?" Ginny asks. What a gossip.

"I had to meet Draco for a moment." I tell her.

"Draco? Malfoy?!?" hermione exclaims.

"The very same. I had to ask him something family related." I tell them. They knew about my arranged marriage from my outburst last summer.

"With talks of being careful, you too." Hermione tells me. I nod and lay on my bed. I can't tell them about Draco staring. They would have too many questions that I don't have the answers for.

The next couple of weeks dragged on as the winners were being chosen. News of the cup died down and replaced with the tournament. One afternoon the twins tried to trick Dumbledore's age line and ended up going to the infirmary. When Viktor Krum came to enter his name he smirked at Hermione as he placed his name in.

The night came and we gathered in the Great Hall waiting for the announcement.

"The Beauxbaton champion will be.... Fleur Delacor!" Her school mates were either cheering  or crying about not being chosen.

"Pathetic lot. They should be happy for their mate." Ginny whispered.

"Now, the Durmstrang champion... Viktor Krum." The crowd roared.

"Told you." Ginny whispered to me. I giggled.

"Now, our final champion.. Hogwarts champion... Cedric Diggory." Every Hogwarts champion roared. We were happy for our class mate. Yes, even the twins.

The commotion seized as the flames grew large again and shot out another piece of paper.

"Harry. HARRY POTTER!" Dumbledore roared.

After a push from Hermione he headed to the back room with the other contestants. I held Georges hand and squeezed it. I was scared for him.

"Bloody, liar." Ron said as his face reddened with anger.

"Ronald, you can't possibly think he did that.' I say to him.

"Take his side, why don't you." Ron said huffing. He turned away from me and I did the smae to face George. He shurgged and gave me a grin. We were excused and went to the common room. All of the students awatied Harry's return.

When he finally did return it wasn't shocking when Ron stomred off into thier room. Neville and Seamus congratulated him before chasing after Ron. Harry looked distraught and insisted he didn't put his name into the goblet. The crowd dispursed when they realized there wasn't anytning to find out and we went to our room.

The bad feeling never went away but I confided in Hermione about my fear and she agreed that it was right to be worried for him. Ronald was just throwing a jealous fit.
