My lovely,

I'm crying tears of joys as I'm writing this. You have made us so proud. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have but woulld rather do it in person. Can you meet in Hogesmade this weekend? We can catch up with you. We miss you terribly.

Love,

Mom

With everything going on I had forgotten the Hogesmade trip. I wrote back agreeing to meet but said I would bring George. I was afraid to run away agian and figured he would come if I asked. I decided to pull out parchment and write down all of the questions that I could think of. ONce it was time to go to lunch I found George talking to Lee and Fred about this weekends Quidditch game against Hufflepuff.

"George, can I ask you for a favor?" I asked after gently tapping on his shoulder.

He turned to face me and we were within inches of each other. I couldn't pull away. His eyes made my stomach do flip flops. I felt the blush creeping up to my cheeks. I wanted to touch his face so badly but refrained from doing so.

"Yes, dear?" He asked me. If it was possible to blush more, I was. He was so incredibly handsome and kind.

"Can you come meet my parents with me this weekend?" I asked.

He nodded gently and grabbed my hand and guided me to sit next to him. He held my hand and went back to his conversation with Fred and George while tracing circles on the back of my hand. I looked down and felt my face heating up.

"I can come with too.. if you need." Fred offered.

"If you want to Ican use the support." isaid honestly. They were my best friends and I couldn't imagine doing this without them.

"We'll always be here for you, Sparks." Fred winked.

The food was served and George was still holding my hand. I've never tried to eat with my non-dominant hand but I surely wasn't letting go of George's. Once the meal was over we seperated for our classes and I gave the three boys hugs and ran off to Care for Magical Creatures.

"This place has gone to the dogs." Ihear Draco saying to his friends. I blocked his voice out. I couldn't focus on that after having George hold my hand for the whole lunch period without letting go.

Hagrid had taught us about Buckbeak and showed us how to bow before walking up to him. Harry got to ride him and said it was exhilirating. Hermione looked wearily of flying but bowed none the less. Next thing we knew Draco was being carried out by Hagrid. He didn't look at me as he was being carried off to the infirmary wing. That was fine by me. His actions were completely unneccessary.

"You ready, Amber?" Fred asked me.

"I guess as I'll ever be." I replied. I didn't know how this was going to go.

Hogesmade weekend was finally here and I had both boys on either side of me. We went into the small pub and waited for my parents while drinking butter beers. I kept shaking my leg. Fred had his arm drapped on the back of the booth and George gave my knee a squeeze and smiled at me. I felt safe with these boys by my side. Suddenly, my parents came to sit down.

"Honey, I thought that we were meeting alone." my mother said. I knew she didn't want to be rude.

"Mom, understand I'm still scared. I don't want to run off this time. That's why the boys are here." I explained.

She nodded and greeted them. She didn't want to have the conversation in front of them. I sensed it.

"It's alright, love. I'm happy to see you two taking care of my girl." my father stated extending his hand to them. They returend the handshake gladly.

"Well I guess my first question is.. why haven't you told me you knew Professor Lupin?" I asked.

"We hadn't known he was teaching here. He and I lost touch many years ago after.... well after Sirius Black betrayed his friends. It wasn't anything personal but he had lost all three of his best friends in such a short period of time." my mother explained. I nodded in understanding. I couldn't imagine life without the twins anymore.

"Okay, that makes sense I suppose. Then were you two set up?" I asked.

"No, we weren't." my father answered. I hadn't expected that.

"Then why am I being set up to someone Ifeel I barely know?" I exclaimed. My leg shook violently now. I felt both boys reach for my hands under the table to try to calm me down.

"Honey, the way you found out was never our intention. Please understand that. We wanted to have a proper discussion about it. The woman I was to be engaged to passed away suddenly during the first wizarding war. She was murdered by death eaters. I met your mother shortly after and fell in love." my dad tried explaining to me.

"So the only way out of it is death?"Iasked seriously. I wanted free as much as I'm sure Draco did but I didn't want him dead.

"No, honey. There are other ways out of it, but you haven't given the boy a chance." my dad said.

I felt both boys squeezing my hands now. I didn't understand then why but figured because they knew I was getting upset.

"I can see you are upset. You don't have to follow through when the time comes if you don't want to but I think it wouldn't be fair to Draco if you didn't even try to get to know him." my mom said.

"He said it's always been me for him. His parents didn't give him a choice." I say looking down.

They looked at me regretfully.

"What happens if I don't want to marry Draco and find someone else?" I ask.

"Well, our relationship will cease to exsist with the Malfoys. I don't agree with the elitest crap but Lucius is indeed a loyal friend." my dad had said.

We finshed our butterbeers and my parents asked me to just think aobut it. They told me they wouldn't force me to do anything that I didn't want to do but hope I'd give it a fair chance. I hugged them both and apologized for my behavior. My dad pulled George off to the side to talk to him before leaving while my mom and I spoke with Fred about how great of a teacher Lupin was. On the trip back to the castle something seemed to bother George. Fred shrugged and George just held my hand the entire way back. We parted ways and I went to my room and told Hermione what had happened.

I had to give Draco a chance.
