Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

I wish that I learnt how to do this from a young age, I knew GOD from a young age but I did not understand His ways and what I needed to do. I have lost my way a few times, taking short cuts because the road seemed too long. But eventually I would get back onto the road. The thing is, you can't expect GOD to come through for you if you aren't willing to put in the work. It's like writing an exam and expecting GOD to let you pass but you haven't even made any effort to study for it. We all need to go through tough times, but I believe that it depends on how you handle those tough times. Sometimes it may not seem fair.
But you have to keep your faith. And if you feel like you are unable to handle it alone, then get on your knees and pray. Life was never meant to be easy. But there are things we can do to make the journey worth it.

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Slowly I am learning that not everyone who claims to support you supports your dreams and wishes, some are only there to watch you fall. It's really hard trusting people these days, you never really know who has your back and who wants to see you crash. I remember how excited I was to share all my secrets with anyone who wanted to listen when I was younger, thinking that they were my friends and that I could trust them.
Well they were my friends, just not the type I could tell my secrets to. There has been a lot of eye opening moments. I am super grateful that I am finally mature enough to see them, even though I don't always see it right away. I must say that I am pretty stubborn and I feel sorry for the people who has to deal with me everyday. Although I have my moments. I am mostly a workaholic who gets little rest, the one who does three different jobs. The crazy one who teases everyone, but also the serious one when it comes to work, the one who loves having fun and going away on holiday. The one who would rather work her butt off now so that her future kids would
be taken care of. The girl who wont wait for a man to fix a plug or paint the house. I am proud of the woman that I am becoming. . .
