another pic of harrys place

Harry

I peel off of the road and am met with an ill lit trail. The trees appeared to be endless and the ground was coated with a layer of fog. I slow the car down and turn my bright lights on, squinting ahead of me as I pray these twigs and rocks don't fuck up my tires.

After a good 30 seconds of driving, I see a small wooden bench. On it, sat a hooded figure that I assumed to be Logan. Her body was visibly shivering and although a hood sat atop her head, I could imagine her face nearly blue. It's at least 30 degrees out. When she sees me, her hand removes the hood from her head and she squints at me. Her eyes were brimmed red and her lips were colorless.

My eyes travel passed her as I slow down to the front of the bench, I could see a dimly lit fire far in the distance, but it looked to be a stretch away. I can't help my face tugged into bewilderment. What the hell would anybody be doing out here?

I turn the heater to it's highest setting and open my door, hissing at the cold breeze that damn near sends me to the ground. How long was she out here?

"Hi." Her voice cracks as she slowly makes her way up, I assume she's been sitting in this position for quite some time. It's pitiful.

"Hey," I mutter, using my hand to help her up. She stumbles over her feet before standing up fully, shaking her head and walking ahead of me to the passengers seat. Didn't seem like she was that drunk.

I close the door behind me and she clicks her seatbelt in, then holds her hands out in front of the vents to warm them up. I noticed her hair was pulled up into a ponytail, which I'd never seen before. It made her lips look more fuller and her cheekbones higher.

"Thanks for getting me." She whispers, clearing her throat afterwards. Her knees leaned against the door and she inhaled a deep breath, seemingly tired. Her hands came into her lap and she stiffened her body, presumably from the sudden change of temperature.

"What happened?" I can't stop myself from wondering.

Her large brown eyes travel to mine and she gives me a soft smile, shaking her head afterwards. "It was Ramon's party, today's his birthday. Well technically yesterday."

"Okay," I recognize Ramon as her friend...and Dree's boyfriend. "Why were you out here, though?"

Her eyes widen sarcastically before she presses her lips together and looks out of the window, seeing that we were pulling onto the regular road now. Why did she react that way? Is there something I don't know that I'm supposed to?

"What is that supposed to mean," I glance at her. She covers her bare stomach with her arms and I quickly look away. I'm not doing this again.

"Nothing, it's just ironic."

"Ironic how?"

"It was Audrey. Your sister, Audrey."

I scoff and set my hand on my right leg, using the other to steer the car. Of course Audrey was here. To be honest, I don't even care. I'm tired of having to pretend I do. She does what she wants. "Hm,"

The ride gets quiet with the exception of soft rock playing lowly on the radio. The road was long and dark, which was expected, since we were in a forest. I still wanted to know what happened and why she ended up away from her friends, but I also didn't want the responsibility of knowing. I can just get her home and-

"I can't go home." She blurts, making eyes dart to her before returning to the road. I run a hand through my hair and sigh. Who was I to think anything could be so simple.
