Apparently, the stormy weather was taking it's time to terrorize us as it was still bright and sunny. I sat with my feet kicked up on Ryders dash, dragging my tongue up the ice cream cone and slurping the sweet dessert in between my lips. In the back seat sat Ramon and a new fling of his who went by the name of Audrey. I vaguely remembered her from school, just that she was one of Ramon's friends, who apparently didn't know about us. Either that or she didn't mind.

We were dropping her and Ramon off at his place so they could have an indoor date, which Ryder called basic and effortless.

"See you later! Nice to meet you for the third time!" Ryder calls as he waves through his halfway let down window. I roll my eyes at his shady comment, ducking down and waving as they walk to his front doorstep, ringing the doorbell. When Ramon's mother finally opens the door, Ryder pulls the Hyundai back down the drive way. I glance at the time on my phone to see that it reads 3:46pm.

"Uh oh, is somebody jelly?" Ryder wiggles his shoulders at me. I scoff, pushing the thought away, "No, and it's not like they're together anyway... Not that it matters," I face Ryder, pointing my finger at him accusingly when he gives me that infamous, 'you lying bitch' smile. I was telling the truth though, I had no interest in being with Ramon in any way but sexually. There was a crush here and there, but I do believe it's from the sex.

"So what're you thinking about," He asks as he turns down the radio, "What's the chisme."

I laugh at his mockery of Miranda, who constantly called him chismoso.

"Okay," I drag my feet down as I prepare to tell him about my night with Ramon. I told Ryder everything. Of course the three of us were close, but Ryder only knew Ramon through me. I was their mutual. However, Ry and I were practically one. We even shared underwear once: Long story.

"So I went to the tutor right, Harry Styles?" I look at Ry expectantly, waiting for him to claim he knows the man, as he knew everyone. When he nods, I continue. "So he shuts me down, completely. Basically says I'm dumb. Whatever whatever."

"Wait wait, he called you dumb?"

"Bro wait I'm getting there," I smack at his shoulder, to which he mumbles, 'bitch'.

"Anyway. He says I'm not as smart as I think I am and he kicks me out. Now, mind you, this man is, whew" I wipe imaginary sweat from my forehead and Ryder squeals. "He's hot. Like Forbes top ten hot."

"Bitchhhh," Ryder bangs the steering wheel excitedly as he slows down at a red light, "Did you fuck him?"

"No!"

"Oh you're fuckin' lame."

"Ryder," I whine.

"Ugh, okay fine."

"Anyway," I continue. "He's hot, keep that in mind, it'll come later. So Ramon picks me up in his mom's car and takes me home and we... you know."

Ryder rolls his eyes.

"Yeah and the whole time.. I wasn't even thinking about him I was-"

"Thinking about your rude ass tutor, oh my god, Lo you fucking slut!" He smacks at my shoulder rapidly and I bury my face in my hands, who was I to act like Ryder would make me feel better about this. "At least you didn't come to the thought of him," He calms down, nodding sympathetically. I look at him weakly and he inhales a deep breath, shaking his head as if giving up, "oh my god I cannot with you." He looks at me before laughing, and I join him, but I soon stop once I remember I hadn't told him everything.

Should I tell him about the article I read? I wanted to, but knowing Ry, he'd google the man after learning his best friends did the hots at the thought of him.
