"I expect that if we're going to be working together you learn to trust me." He demands hastily, his eyes boring into mine.
Something in my head told me that trusting him was a bad idea, but I needed the help, and he violently attractive.
The hyp...
The entire room is dark and smells of mold. There's an antagonizing sound of a broken leak, and I focus on the sound of the water hitting against the cold cement. I scrunch my nose up at the dewy stench and bite on my lower lip.
My breath hits the ski mask and I tried to steady my nerves that particularly skyrocketed at the familiar scent of Jason every time I inhale, seeing that this was his mask I wore, while he was somewhere with a potato sack over his head.
I nervously glance to my left, where a senior who I knew as Mauricio stood, his hands firmly folded in front of him and face hidden behind his own tanned ski mask. The same as the large circle of twelve men. In the middle, our president, Brian, tugging off his mask with a smug grin, showcasing his pearly whites. My breath hitches in my throat when his eyes catch mine, but I remember. I'm supposed to be Jason.
"Welcome, to the 2011 official hazing!" He shouts into the quiet room, earning, loud, sharp barks from the entire circle that makes me flinch. "I am your president, Brian Jennings, and my right-hand mand," He looks at me again, "Jason, come up here, buddy."
My stomach ties in an excruciating knot as I chew on my lip even more. Jason's reassuring words played in my mind, and I found myself needing them more than ever as the men around me send encouragement, shouting and whistling as I take steps towards the center of the room to stand next to my president. I take a deep breath and give him a curt nod, my jaw tightening in concentration
I can do this.
He pats my back roughly, "Now, let's get this show on the road! Who's ready for some fresh meat!"
More barks.
"Today, we have but four freshmen." He begins, flipping his shoulder-length blonde hair over his shoulders and pressing his lips together while gesturing to the bottom of the stairs.
"Marcus,"
A shirtless body is pushed towards the bottom of the stairs, and a frail, pale boy with a potato sack over his head shivers as he stumbles onto the concrete, earning laughs. Though his face is covered, he looks absolutely fearful, wearing nothing but black and red plaid boxers. I can't laugh, if I make any noise it'll be to fucking vomit.
Cuffs are bonding his hands together, and he's pushed to stand up by a member in the same ski mask as me. Standing tall and proud.
"Jordan," Brian shouts as yet another frigid boy is being taunted into the center of the room to stand in front of him. He chuckles, turning toward me to shoot me a weird grin that sends my throat closing.
"Neil." Another.
I feel my palms get sweaty with anticipation as I know exactly what name he will call next. All I can hear is a dull ringing in my ears along with Jason's voice, promising me that everything will turn out fine.
"And last but not least...Harry,"
